written & produced in a bedroom studio during the early 2000's, Uaing an early version of Cakewalk and a Tascam 4-track cassette machine.  All songs are written & performed by Matthew Kemp all by himself while doing various drugs when he should have been in school.  This was around 20 years before bedroom studios were a thing.  They just didnt really exist in those days.

Hi, i'm Matthew Kemp. I remember one time when i was a kid, I found an old guitar in a trash pile. I risked Tetanus and who knows what else when I climbed into the garbage and retrieved the instrument. somehow i got it in tune, and today i still refuse to put it down.  
Its finally been long enough that i dont stink no more.

The music on this page represents various projects from my time spent in Studio.  My main squeeze rn is Punky Bluester. but there is other stuff going on too. if a track is private then it's not ready yet, or I don't have the rights to publish it (it might be a client thing). I am FOR HIRE.  need audio?, need music? Human VO? (ai is subconsciously ineffective) need sound design for anything? for visuals, I'm already very good at video editing.  Oh did i mention i'm also an actor?  there are a lot of ways we can work together.
