This is a remastered version of Where Borders Fade Like Clouds.
I spent extra time making some changes and really honing in on the sound and quality.  I am way happier with the output.  

The heavy bass you hear, is actually virtual Double Bass.   It has blending with Piano bass sounds phased like a chorus sound or electric bass with distortion. It was a very cool effect that happened in mastering.  I loved it and kept it for flavor.  But the over all sound is way tighter and professional.

Still in process the goal is to mix latin style with orchestra in the flavors of the region.

De La Provincia De Santa Fe A Miami (Demo In Progress)

A track whose title is inspired by The Motorcycle Diaries.  This track features a blend of latin music styles and instruments that are found from Argentina to Miami or the Caribbean regions.   While history notes Che Guevara was assassinated by the CIA, the movie focuses on his humanity and the reasons he became what he became.  

Where Che saw a united Latin people of the Americas, I see a human race that transcends politics, religion, gender, ethnicity and social status. Where others saw Communists to persecute, Che saw people, poor and destitute.  History will judge, but it was people that changed his mind.   I suppose I feel my own inner journey has been much the same.  I am too insignificant to be the ambassador for such values to unite humanity.  Yet I admire the strength it took to take that road, and the heart of what he felt when he saw and heard what he did.

This track took 4 days.  Normally I can do a track in 2.  Yet in this track I features a large mix of virtual and real percussion.   While the track features full orchestra, woodwind, brass and string sections, the huge live percussion section required lots of recording time by a mic.  Also I had to improvise and use a spoon with a knife, pot lid and a water filled small candy tin.  When filled with water they function like a water harp and the sounds and tones can change.  Also I recorded real strumming guitar and blended all these elements together.  It's one of the larger recording projects I've made. Enough to bog my computer down and barely get by.  

I thought to myself how these cultures improvised by using common items available to them. And this inspired me to use what goods I had in my home.

This remix reduces the stereo spread a bit and turns up volume on some of the metallic elements.

Beats For Streets

I've been listening to new alternative music lately and decided the genre needs more orchestral and cinematic vibes. This is my first and demo attempt at that genre with an orchestral and synth sound. It's short but focussed on style more than perfecting instrumentation and orchestration. I featured an electric acoustic through Guitar Rig and virtual instrumentation.  I'd like to expand more on this genre and blend in my orchestral style.  This was a practice run since I've not truly had this genre in my catalog.

990 (A new alternative rock demo)

I'm a composer and lover of music.  I went to Berklee College of Music Online for film scoring.   I love film music and model much of my music after that style. What is so unique about it is that it can use any style from any culture or genre. So you'll hear more and more genres on my page all the time. I'm also a videographer with a former background in broadcasting for TV news and government based TV. I can shoot, light, edit and do some graphics work.
