So, hot on the heels of the Subcode birthday weekend it’s back to my monthly Subcode Residency. Slightly different Soundscapes this month as I played a 2hr set, which is the full length of my opening set for the celebration of Subcode’s 3rd birthday party. 
So this was not just a gig, this was a very special gig, and this was not just an opening set for a party, it’s an opening set for a special birthday celebration, it’s about friends, it's about the music that brings us together, and also, a thank you, a thank you to Subcode, aka Simon and Marc for creating a special place for us to come together, be it online or in person to share our stories through the love and shared passion for the music. So I hope you enjoy this journey in its full entirety as I crafted it. I know some don’t like to do opening sets, I actually really enjoy it, there is a special sense of freedom being the first to play, and so much to think of as you are setting the intention for the whole day and where the vibe is going to go. Not too fast, not too slow, upbeat, uplifting and happy. I know when you walk into a room the excitement you feel as you push open the door and you feel the room humming and buzzing. It can be an instant lift to your soul and it feels so good.
