Today I have arrived in my hometown Kyiv! And already this Saturday I will be playing my first techno set as Kateryna Kremko at a charity event at Kureni. It feels very special being here since the last time I played in Ukraine was back in 2016.

Coming home is the perfect way to start my new musical chapter. Back to the roots, back where my true passion for music started. It will be a very emotional journey and I am excited to share that with you 🖤

CHRIS WIDMAN + MR. JOSHUA of ABSTRACT SCIENCE radio follow the JEFF MILLS + TONY ALLEN live show upstairs in METRO with an extended DJ set in SMART BAR. WIDMAN begins with eclectic selections for the first 50 minutes (while ALLEN + MILLS were still playing upstairs), followed by a 2.5 hour back-to-back session with MR.JOSHUA that gradually builds in tempo + energy, touching on house, techno, broken beat, breaks, electro + african influences. Sun finds the jungle like needle on wax / Slowly it creeps until finally...SPLASH
With bright beams of sunshine, birds start to sing / The forest awakens, a new day begins!
Below tramples Crocodile, Dino at side / The kaleidoscope leaves casting prisms of light
They push on ahead, for they mustn’t be late / A brand new adventure simply can’t wait

But sometimes adventures can lead to strange places/ Sun disappears, and the weirdest of faces/
Loom from the shadows, a darkness within/ A twist in your tummy, the walls closing in/
Our two brave explorers, with widening eyes/ See the jungle hiss back, a thousand red eyes

But wait –

From the shadows, a cold silver tear/ A spaceship abandoned by lost pioneers
The friends know at once that they must get inside/ They yank and they crank till the door opens wide
But how does it work? Can it get to the sky?/ The answer is here – a button says ‘FLY’
They strap themselves in as the instruments ping/ The spaceship unfolding its silvery wings
They look at each other, all engines a-hum / Time becomes lightyears, adventure begun!
