Padley And Storm. Dark/Mysterious. Full orchestra.

Wow I had no idea how this would end up well I don't on all of my creations but this one really surprised me.  Lots of new things added and I had a blast.
When I went searching for my artwork I came upon the photo of the butterfly and watch.  I think I did that back in either 2018 or 2019.
It was perfect.  The most I listened to the composition and then the art, then the title came.
How many times I find myself awake in the wee hours with creative thoughts and sometimes not so creative thoughts.  3 am eternal.
Rebirth just popped in my head and I was like wow that fits.
Loved playing with the chimes and some other instruments/sounds to add that "creepy" factor.  You know me and my love of dark art.  Well if you don't you do now lol.
After composing that full band score these short experimental works are so much fun and so just making more ideas in my head.  Gotta say I'm becoming quite obsessed with them.

Talking my Dad (who is 96) some years ago and offering my condolences upon finding out he had just lost one of his cherished longtime friends, all he said was "They're all gone now." I was reminded of this recently while staying with him while Mom (now 92) was recovering in the hospital. I wrote this song during a quiet moment while he was sleeping. This recording features some of the new Soundpaint instruments including the 1967 Clarinet Paris; 1987 Alto Flute Savana; 1995 English Horn Lorium; 2004 Flute Platinus; 2010 Bassoon Firebird #soundpaint_demo
