Blane Bent is a visionary hip-hop artist and storyteller from Ithaca, New York, whose music blends Caribbean soundscapes, NY and Atlanta energy, anime, gaming, and raw autobiography into something entirely new. With a melodic flow and a sharp narrative voice, Blane turns his life experience—including time spent in foster care—into powerful stories of resilience, ambition, and transformation.

Previously known as “Bravo Blane” and later evolved through self mastery into “Bravo Bicasso” at the suggestion of his art director “Get Designs Here”, Blane recently returned to his roots, reclaiming his original name and sharpening his focus on his singular vision. Blane has also worked side by side for over a decade developing his soundscape with his personal engineer/good friend “DBrown Sounds”. Together they’ve created a blueprint for many artists in the upstate scene with a wide range of music to help diversify his audience. 

An innovator, trailblazer, and trendsetter, he uses his platform to be a beacon of light for young people growing up in the system, showing that creativity, courage, and vision can carve a path forward. His albums “Final Form”, and “Captain Black Jack Sparrow” chronicle his artistic evolution, while his latest work “Digital Butterfly”, pushes even further into uncharted sound and storytelling.

started writing lyrics in high school,
whenever he had free time,
helping him escape reality for the time being, 
while dealing with depression and addiction,
he started recording off his iPhone 6 with one take audios,
with his first written n recordings being remixes to his favorite artists at the time (dizzy wright, young thug, rae sremmurd)
*2015*
progressing to his own sound with original beats from CMProductionz,
such as "gon insane" "t.t.t" "enragin'",
was also taught how beats were made,
which created the instrumental tape titled,
(lost files)
*2016*
mykxh started home studio recording his vocals with a dynamic microphone off his mom's laptop using software 
"audacity"
which he recorded all his,
remixes and songs,
he wrote on his phone the previous years,
*2017* 
was an off year for him as he had other habits such as drinking/partying/smoking
n stopped taking music serious for the time being,
*2018*
after collabs such as "pass this" "own way" "betrayed" 
which started the drive for music again,
the first freestyle track "aint enough",
uncovered the love for freestyling songs instead of writing,
*2019* 
continuing to drink poison,
he would steer more towards drunk freestyles and record old written lyrics in the notebook vault he had saved many years ago with songs "endless" "rough lesson" "2yung"
*2020*
with 2 free style tapes,
(love it n love it deluxe) 
and 1 written album,
(2 yung) 
under his catalog,
he decides to stop drinking alcohol @

which cleared his conscious n subconscious,
n a whole new creativity was discovered
which was put towards his new album coming soon "kant kklaim amerikkkan" 
*2021* 
after being only on soundcloud n youtube, 
subliminal mind moves his music to streaming services,
with song "losin interest" off "2yung"
being the biggest song to date,
with more releases as,
"self titled - subliminal mind"
which was inspired n created with
psychedelics
was also in the works
*2022* 
upgrading the studio quality and microphone started another new journey 
with freestyle songs making a come back with a 3 part EP

houdini pt ii (warm)
field trip iii (hot)
which shows the 3 sides of subliminal that he felt at the time
also a busy year recording wise as his vision for music kept getting clearer for him
and many tapes which were barely released was also created in that same year, such as

after unlocking a new way to vocalize his lyrics 
he also gets a big upgrade,
n moves from a laptop to a monitor and starts fresh with stratch with songs " acetylene, wwyd?, magic"
being the first couple songs recorded 


Joliet native on a bigger scale I am from Chicago-land. My music is my diary its how i face my biggest fears by sharing them with others on the hope they relate, within the grand scheme of thing I make music to heal I make music for the youth to hear a banger without a derogatory message. This music is for the FUTURE!
