William Ryder - The Bedroom Crucifixion

Back in 1992 a sound system was born in Bushwick Brooklyn, as a couple of teenagers who had a passion for DJ’ing began playing parties together. As we gained experience the venues began to get larger and the playlists more diverse. The parties came and went, and the people came and went, but the love of music never faded. 
Eventually we built a recording studio in order to go beyond the restrictions of playing other people’s music and allow us to create original songs of our own. However, as time went on life’s circumstances set in. You always have a fight plan until you get hit, and that's when all your dreams quickly spill down the drain. Time is truly a musician’s worst enemy, and it quickly killed us. One by one we gave up like unfed soldiers at war, it’s true that an army fights with its stomach. 
But just as the death of winter meets the birth of spring, our ambitions of the past seemed to resurrect from nowhere. DarkerShade was born to fulfill our lifetime aspirations of creative expression through music.
