As God's children, we must continually seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to stay free from the three temptations the devil has used to ensnare humanity since the beginning: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. These temptations appeal to our desires, corrupt our perspective, and fuel our pride, leading us away from God's purpose. By yielding to the Holy Spirit, we can resist these lures, walk in purity, and live in the freedom that Christ has secured for us.

As God's Children, we need to be aware of the seeds of thoughts that we sow into our souls. Galatians 6:8, says, For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
