10 20 2014 Evening Chat - WARNINGS

Michael laid a foundation from Ezekiel 16 of God redeeming Israel...cleansed and clothed her...jeweled her...and she turned from Him and to the world/nations.   This chapter in Ezekiel is the condition of a fallen nation. 
There are two halves of one...a sinful side and a redeemed side.  The foundation of the fallen side of us is necessary for the Revelation 18 reading and understanding.
You will learn why redemption is so important...
"Born again" identifies with you and a nation.
God will recreate the world from the righteous part of that sinful nation.  He will separate the two.
Everything will be uncovered.  Try not to explain who is who...let all see it revealed.   Jerusalem is punished by the Lord in order for it to be kept.
The children of disobedience will endure God's Wrath.
When we are no longer ashamed of our sin, people will see a sinner saved by Grace.
Right after Jerusalem is trampled underfoot, God steps in.
Satan has planted many things to destroy us.

We are new creations in Christ, which means we are dead to sin and no longer subject to the effects or consequences of sin and death ruling over our lives. As Paul says in Galatians 6:14, "By whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Likewise, 1 Peter 2:24 says we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness.

~ Tonight we discussed REVELATION CHAPTER 14, focusing in on the 144,000, set apart, undefiled and without guile.  In addition, we gained wisdom on how imperative it is we live each day to the fullest, in humility, with a repentant heart.  Time is simply too short to live under the guise of another day to turn away from childish ways of sin, when we know better and have been told  what is right and wrong in the sight of the Lord as written in the Word.

~ This evening we discussed our unique calling as the BODY OF CHRIST to be SALT & LIGHT in a darkened and lost world.  Through surrender and obedience to Lord Jesus we overcome, to lead by example.  The HOLY SPIRIT is the COMFORTER to guide us into all Truth.  He teaches us, guides us and gives us power to accomplish that which is purposed by the Father.

Psalms 92 - when they say peace and safety - iniquity will be flourishing on the earth.  What God does in the heavens and on earth with shaking and weather cannot be fought with bullets.  
The joy of the Lord is eternal.  Stay sober and in the Spirit.  Die to the flesh daily and be in perpetual praise and Worship.
Do only the things that allow you to extend your strength to minister to your brother or sister.
