After roughly three years I've finally returned to remixing! This new track is from one of my favorite video games ever - Shovel Knight!

Right from the get go this was a game that marveled me with how deliberate it's design was and how it got so many elements down to a science, but it wasn't until the second level, Lich Yard, until I realized I was in for something truly special in all of it's atmospheric glory. As it happens, Lich Yard also contained my favorite track in the entire game - La Danse Macabre. The song has never left my head ever since I had first heard it, the lovely melodies and arpeggios still ring in my head.

Roughly a year later after having first played it, I felt like paying a tribute to this gem of a tune, and in experimenting with new things I had one hell of a time in making this. Shovel Knight is a game that defines inspiration for me, in terms of the way it was done, what it represents and what it is. I hope you enjoy the song just as much as I did making it!

The "Final Dungeon" of my second book, Symphony of Hunted Truths. Although there's complete chaos going on outside of this ancient structure made of Star Junk, the inside is quiet. Almost too quiet. Flickering tubes of light, strange glass windows that flash various words, sentient guns... The building is slowly flooding bit by bit, and filled with traps. If Verse wants to make it out in one piece, she'll need to tread lightly.
