This song is about longing for someone who doesn’t feel the same. It draws insight from Muse, and features bright Green Day-like sounding vocals, along with an electrifying bassline and drums. This Alternative Rock opus starts with a dream influenced opening, including a synthesized introduction leading to a hard rock punch and a brass ring. Featuring melodic trumpets, this song was inspired by a girl who plays the trumpet.

Sparkling White Wine is a Classic Rock Inspired song featuring piano and winds. The lyrics are derived from my struggle with alcohol use but also my passion for artisan beverages, particularly sparkling white wine, which most people know as Champagne. 

The two verses tell the story of a typical night of going to a bar and drinking wine, with its repetitive and predictable piano melody. The choruses with their bright orchestral instrumentation, both expressing the seemingly elegant feeling of being under the influence of said wine, and the desire of wanting to consume more. 

Since I tend to gravitate towards the bubbly type of wine, I named the song after it.  I like all kinds of Sparkling White Wine, which is why I wrote this song.

After almost 5 years in the making, Love Is Painful is now released on music platforms. I first debuted this song in 2019 at a popular pub in my hometown Allen, Texas. The song is written about having feelings for someone who didn’t like me back. 

You know that feeling you get when you like someone you think is special, only to find out that person thinks nothing of you, and all you can do is try to forget? I often wonder how I could have loved someone who does not even love me back. This is how I remember my senior year of high school, and thus how I wrote Love Is Painful. 

Out of all my music, this song has the hardest rock feel to it, with its complex arpeggiating distortion guitar part and bass line alike. The song features musical inspiration from modern rock as well as drum parts dating back to my high school marching band shows. 

After I wrote Love Is Painful, I knew I wanted to become a singer/songwriter.
