Fully formed and let loose late on in 2013, Geistfight have been establishing themselves within the UK Ska and Punk scene as the "go to guys" for a fast paced, energetic, venue-bouncing skacore/punk showcase.

For fans of contemporaries such as Farse, Capdown, RX Bandits, Adequate Seven, Strung Out, No Comply, Howards Alias etc, the sound of the 90's and early 00's third wave advances again. Whilst including a heavier, riff driven groove with epic breakdowns and marching beats, Geistfight maintain that dance-inducing infectiously happy vibe that ska (and a bit of funk!) provides.

All of this is performed with so much attitude and passion that no gig could ever be flat. This is why Geistfight blend so well with a wide variety of bands like local heroes and friends Darko (techy-hardcore punk) and Tree House Fire (smooth reggae/ska positive vibes)

In 2014, the first full year, Geistfight enjoyed a support slot on several dates of The JB Conspiracy tour and played multiple times with Faintest Idea, Tree House Fire and Darko. The band also shared the stage with The Peacocks, Dirty Revolution, Will Tun and the Wasters, Citizen Fish, The Karma Party, Drones and many other awesome acts. There was even a headlining performance at the Fleet Christmas Festival!

The Geistfight demo featuring "The Fine Line", "Counting Hours" and "Break Out" was recorded on a budget of £13 in friend Jake's garage and mixed by Brad Tyler for a bottle of rum. This has sold out several times, at which point guitarist Tom Adams goes and makes a handful more at home! The launch of the band has been truly DIY and where Geistfight goes from here is built on doing it as organically as possible.

"The Fine Line" and "Counting Hours" have both been used on widely circulated sampler albums, including the upcoming release of "Buried Treasure" by Ska Mutiny Records, previously featuring the likes of Random Hand.

Geistfight have released their first full single "The Fine Line" and a video to compliment this ska-punk banger of a track. With this release representing a true step up, it should be the perfect introduction to the E.P. recorded in October 2015 with Chris Edkins.

2015 has included stages shared with Imperial Leisure, Random Hand and an appearance at Undercover Festival with The Damned and XSLF.

We are all about live performance, so wherever or whenever you see Geistfight you can be assured of one thing: It's gonna be a Skacore/Punk party!
