Established February 23rd 1990, Ismael "Rose" Sanchez is an up and coming, coming of age recording artist here to accomplish one mission, to leave his mark! Going back as far as 15 years, music has always been a passion to him. From karaoke machines, to tape recorders, and CD burners, Rose has always found a way to lay his thoughts and feelings down over a beat. Now he plans to accomplishlol way more than that! After serving 2 years on a 7 year sentence in a Texas prison, Rose is out on parole and ready to go! Sky's the limit for this struggling 30 year old father and dreamer, and it reflects on his music! Melisa Rodriguez also known as Mel Rose was born on August 7, 1973, in Philadelphia PA, and later moved to the Bronx, New York, born to Puerto Rican parents (mother) Bethsaida Rosario a Cosmetology and Barber Teacher and (father) Rafael Rodriguez owner of a furniture company in Philadelphia PA. She has a younger sister, Marisol, and 4 other siblings from her father side, Jessica, Maribel, Rafael Jr. and Rafy Jr.
Mel Rose is also the parent of two children, Zaphire and Devon who reside in Orlando, Florida. Zaphire being a college graduate an artist and a nail technician, Devon a college student and a father of a 3 year old little boy.
Mel Rose lived in Orlando and worked as a hair stylist for 25 years and was the owner of Zaphire Hair Salon, Expressions at Winter Park and The cutting Edge Hair designs in a span of a little less than 20 years, and was also platform artist in the hair Industry. 
The early presence of music in her life helped her get through much trial as a young woman and a young mother. "Music is my therapist" she says. 
She moved to Houston, Texas to pursue music after a medical scare in 2015, and since then has been able to accomplish local and International notoriety with her musical vocal ability as well as her atavistic ability to direct and produce a fashion, music and art event which gave her to opportunity to receive a proclamation  for "The Rose Experience"  which created awareness for cancer survivors and the Organization "TheRose.Org" from congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and an award for an event "The Rising Roses, which also created awareness for human and sex trafficking in our country, The Rising Roses supported the organization "United Against Human Trafficking". 
She has performed internationally in Sao Paulo, Campinas in Brazil in 2017.
Mel Rose has discovered her creative and artistic side since moving to Houston, and her art has been featured in the "City of Houston Gallery".
Mel Rose believes and is passionate about giving back to her community and feels that the blessing is in the giving.  She plans on using her Music, her art, and all that is within her artistically to inspire people into their purpose. 
In 2017, after the hurricane Maria hit her home town of Puerto Rico, she decided to team up with her producer Waggner Portela from Campinas, Brazil, to write and produce "Que Bonita Bandera" Inspired by her grandmother and family in the island who were affected and devastated by the events that took place, when hurricane Maria practically wiped the Island and was left with no light.  "Que Bonita Bandera" was introduced to one of Puerto Rico's well know artist Julio Cesar Sanabria and was quickly placed in a Christmas compilation Cd"Navidad Boricua un pueblo Se Levanta" with some of Puerto Rico's finest artist, like Manny Manuel, Cristina Ray, Rey Ruiz and Julio Cesar Sanabria, just to name a few. The Cd has been sold in Wal-Mart, Ebay, Sears in Puerto Rico and hass been selling great within the Puerto Rican community.
Mel Rose will be releasing her Latin single in January, 2018 and will be working towards her EP by September, 2018. She has a lot in store and is ready to take the Latin community by storm.
