A fanstastic interview with my awesome little sister, Paula. Sadly Paula lost her battle with cancer today and I miss her to bits.

Paula is my little sister too. She lived with this with such a positive attitude, and taught us so much. We get caught up in day to day life, often going through the motions, without truly LIVING. She used cancer as a reason to live her best life in the precious time she had, and shared that time with those she loved. What a privilege to have been part of her life. I will always miss her too, and am hugely proud of her.

Distinguishing between grief and depression can at times be clinically challenging. While both may manifest in similar ways, there are some key differences helpful in separating the two. However, grief and depression can also co-occur with the course of one influencing the other, further adding to the complexity of the presentation. This month's Black Dog Institute Expert Insight  forum brings together clinicians, researchers and consumers to answer questions on managing grief and depression in clinical practice.
