String Trio No 1

A lovely version of the Dragon Quest V waltz, evidently the PS2 version, by Koichi Sugiyama.  Whether or not you're into game music, give it a listen if you like classical waltzes, for example Strauss.  It's a wonderful piece!

Dragon Quest VII OST 3DS by Koichi Sugiyama.  The first of three tracks named Shadow of Death, this one is darkly ambient (for DQ, anyway).  A decent background track for a dark cave or ghost town.

DQ VII - Shadow of Death (Symphonic)

An excerpt of the piece Gloomy Cave by Koichi Sugiyama from the game Dragon Quest IX.  This is the part I wanted, the brief Cave Waltz interlude, which I've cut and extended here.  I plan to use it in my waltzes playlist for parties and castle events in my roll20 games.  It's a bit melancholy for a waltz, but still lovely.

DQ IX - Cave Waltz (Symphonic)

From Dragon Quest VII by Koichi Sugiyama, this version lovingly played by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.  A lovely theme to use for towns and villages in your D&D games.

DQ VII - Land of Tranquility (Symphonic)

From Dragon Quest VIII by Koichi Sugiyama and performed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.  This mysterious, ethereal tune is great for background music in a magical place in D&D.

DQ VIII - Poet's World Moonshadow (Symphonic)

The Gypsy Dance from Dragon Quest IV by Koichi Sugiyama featuring Ryū Gotō.  A good tune for dancing, festivals and that fortune teller you know you always wanted to RP in your D&D game.  It was combat music in the original game (for the two dancer character twin sisters) but I think it's better suited to RP.

DQ IV - Gypsy Dance (Symphonic)

A thoughtful gamer in the San Francisco Bay area.   Mostly I made this account to stream stuff to my roll20 and D&D games, though it turns out there is a lot more to enjoy here, too!
