Quoting T.A. on request: There is no boundary between you and the environment. You cannot draw a line where you end and environment begins. We're forever part of it even when we die. In the same way there is no boundary where you end and I begin. We aren't separate individuals, forget this whole Leftist nonsense with its absurd idea of "Personal Space" as some kind of definer of friendship. We are the superorganism of humanity - the most social mammals nature had ever created. We're like Mycelium connecting individual fruiting bodies of mushrooms, mycelium that connects mushrooms across thousands of miles of forest floor. In exactly the same way our DNA binds us - we're NOTHING without one another, and we only attain happiness when we live for one another. Sanskrit, the most musical language said it best: Aham Tuam - I Am Thee. Tat Suat Asi. Tat Tuat Asi: You are all this. You are all that. Even the most introverted introvert needs company, needs emotional support, a shoulder to cry on in times of need, Friendship is about RECIPROCITY. It's about MUTUAL TRUST. It's about sharing the most valuable commodity we have - TIME. Everything else is but meaningless trinkets, there is no greater gift you can give your friend than YOUR TIME.  Even small gifts we give are merely symbolic of the time one spent selecting them. Even the altruism of sacrificing one's life is but sacrifice of one's TIME. The ENTIRETY of one's TIME to preserve the entirety of time of one you love. This is not "my philosophy". This is REALITY. Call it "spacetime" if you want to be scientific about it: this is when our Light Cones projecting into Infinity merge into one. There is no separating them - they will forever remain merged, eternally frozen into slices of Spacetime the way ants are stuck in pieces of amber. They orbit one another in a long spiral, coming together then separating again, the spiral which orbits the spiral of Earth around the Sun, The spiral of Sun around the Galactic Central Point, which itself is spiraling towards the Great Attractor at 600 kilometres a second. We don't feel it like we don't feel the Earth spin, but this is very real.This is poetry and science in one, - no separating the two. 



This is Philosophy and Music in one: there is no separating the two. It's about giving Beauty to the world to slightly offset its frightening ugliness, its impermanence, the cruelty of Time and Death, Cold Indifference of Cosmos. Everything I wrote, all that I composed was an Act of Love. We've evolved for thousands of years sharing long, narrow caves with 15-30 other individuals who were OUR ENTIRE WORLD.  Sometimes it was about fun and joyful conversations, other times - it was about mutual silence, or quiet sadness or grief and staring at the flame that kept us warm together. We could not have survived any other way except absolute reliance on one another. Take an intro course in Evolutionary Psychology, Human Behavioural Biology, read Classical and Modern philosophers: from Plato to Michael Montagne, and not a single one mentions anything about "Personal Space" defining friendship. But almost everyone mentions 1. Mutual trust 2. Mutual Honesty. 3. Dependability 3. Trustworthiness 4. The sacrifice of personal convenience and of one's time for a friend. 5. Reciprocity. I perfectly accept the need for time out, but it's absurd to treat the most impersonal, non-real time form of communication that one doesn't have to answer for a long period of time, or at all (like e-mail) as some kind of "invasion of privacy". The intermittent need to be alone doesn't define the veracity of friendship in the slightest. I've fought for my friends and I put myself in harm's way for those I love a number of times. So I know what "true friendship" is and I feel sorry for those for whom the aforementioned things do not define friendship: because they don't know what friendship is or have no real friends.
