Yeah, it seems like Nintendo have updated their earlier versions of these battle tracks so as a result, they sound a little different to the earlier semi clean versions I managed to get.

EDIT: I'm going to quote a reason why this is the case:

"If you go back to some of the Splatoon 2 Testfire videos, there are quite a few people who, in their videos, mention how the music from the sequel is, while pleasant to listen to, not as exciting or engaging as Splatoon 1's battle themes (example: Andre from GameXplain). In the comment section, there is also a majority of people who agreed. With this, Nintendo took each song and changed it up so that it could both (1) not be too distracting (as it is background music) and (2)more hype (a.k.a. match Splatoon 1's style a bit more)."
