Born in the UK with very mixed Asian heritage, Charis Vera has been involved in production for the last sixteen years. These include theatre/musicals/film/tv as well as modelling for both print and catwalk. 

One of her biggest acting projects saw her playing the female lead, Lingual, on the multiple award-winning telly series What Do Men Want alongside Jason Chan and Christian Lee- This ran on Channel 5 on Tuesday nights in 2014, to rave reviews.

On the music front, Charis Vera mostly writes and sings very easy-listening/ acoustic type songs. Having said that, she is known for performing a wide range of genres including anything from soft rock to powerhouse ballads. In 2012, she was briefly the Frontman and Lead Singer of an all-girl rock band The Rock Rosettes.

In late 2014, Charis Vera came on board as a featuring artist with pop group Chocolate Island- together, they wrote and performed Miles Away, released Valentine's Day 2015.
