Yes - Things Keep Lookin' Up for Shirley Jackson with the 22nd Annual Maple Blues Awards announcing Shirley Jackson as 'Horn Player of the Year'  along with a nomination for Music Educator of the Year with the Nova Scotia Music Awards 2019. 

Shirley has been a mainstay in the Nova Scotia music scene for the past 30 years as a song writer, saxophone player, guitarist, percussionist, music educator and band leader. As the recipient of two Maple Blues Awards, four ECMA nominations, four Music Nova Scotia Nominations; Shirley Jackson continues to present her songwriting with various arrangements from the six piece band Shirley Jackson & her Good Rockin' Daddys down to an acoustic duo with Shirley Jackson on vocals, guitar, and tenor sax accompanied by her son, Jef Wirchenko, on bass.

Kevin Driscoll blends blues, alt, folk and emo with rhythmic textures and heart felt lyrics.  Kevin draws inspiration from legends such as David Bowie, BB King, Peter Gabriel, David Byrne, Leonard Cohen, Dave Matthews, Todd Rundgren, and Paul Simon.

Moira Chicilo is an indie/folk-rock singer-songwriter who lives in Vancouver, BC. Her influences are Roots/Americana artists such as Lucinda Williams or Gillian Welch. Vocally she sounds like Aimee Mann (in the personability of her delivery), with a Randy Newman depth and quirk to her songwriting.
