 tsimba is the alias adopted by bass music producer and multi-instrumentalist, Mark Evans Musto based out of Brooklyn, NY, originally from Wallingford, CT. When it comes to artistic authenticity and ingenuity, tsimba sets the bar extremely high with his hard-hitting, genre-defying production and mind-melting DJ sets. Turning heads across the country with his ‘Future Roots Sound’, tsimba is undoubtedly building a reputation as one of the most dynamic, exciting artists in the mid-tempo/heavy bass scene. His background as a percussionist fuels his ability to build songs around complex, out-of-the-box percussion rhythms, while simultaneously drawing on inspiration from both western and eastern traditional music to create his distinctive sound. Remaining indifferent toward fads and what others are doing, tsimba is a genuine trailblazer in the realms of bass music, continually pushing the envelope. His mission is to not only create music that people will love, but to inspire and create an art form that celebrates all aspects of rhythm.

TAUK has been painting with sound for nearly a decade now, pushing boundaries and reinventing themselves every chance they get. Founded by Dolan, Jalbert, and Carter, who began playing together as middle schoolers on Long Island, the band landed on its present incarnation in 2012, when college pal Teel joined full time.

Since then, the quartet has gone on to tour with the likes of Umphrey’s McGee, Widespread Panic, and Lettuce, landed festival slots everywhere from Bonnaroo to Electric Forest, racked up millions of streams across platforms, and garnered extensive critical praise with a series of widely lauded studio and live albums. The Washington Post hailed the band’s music as “a hard-charging, often melodic fusion that—thanks to a penchant for improv—offers limitless possibilities,” while Keyboard Magazine declared that their sound “doesn’t adhere to a single genre but, instead, creates its own,” and Relix dubbed them “an incredibly impressive ensemble of talent.”
