Ten Degrees Of Pitch are a classic ‘post-kids’ band – two years in the rehearsal room before their first gig, lyrical themes that read like the international section of the Independent, and a name taken from a real-life air disaster. So far, so pretentious. But all three members have been around the block a bit, in bands since their teens, with bassist Jon claiming fame – and a songwriting credit – as a sound effects guru on the Grand Theft Auto videogame franchise. So they should, in theory at least, know what they’re doing. What actually happens is a combination of their formative musical styles – 90s grunge and funk, some country and western, a touch of pseudo-punk here and there – with a mature take on songwriting: no talk of ‘hoes’ or ‘homies’ to be found. The lyrical themes of songs like Fly The Flag (war from the point of view of the soldier), Shed These Skins (ageing and euthanasia) and Nigel’s Garage (erm…), might make for thoughtful and perhaps uncomfortable listening if you read the lyrics, but they’re all put to such urgent soundtracks you can just ignore the words and rock out instead. Their set can run for up to an hour, so there’s plenty of time in the middle for a spot of solo guitar looping from Martin, before climaxing with the end of human civilisation in Yellowstone Disaster.

Hermes Camacho is a composer, conductor, and violinist based in Austin, Texas. 

His music has been performed throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia and has garnered awards and recognition from the National Endowment for the Arts, American Composers Forum, ASCAP, SCI, the Dallas Wind Symphony, 60x60, MusicX, ArtsAha!, and the Vermont Arts Council, among others, and has served residencies with the Chamber Music Conference of the East, Winthrop University (South Carolina), Boulder Youth Symphony (Colorado), Austin Youth Philharmonic, Northwest Vista College (Texas), Southwestern University (Texas), and the Southwestern College Summer Music Fest (Kansas). 

Camacho has over 150 conducted performances to his credit in a variety of genres and ensemble types, including a performance for a delegation of 45 Ambassadors to the United Nations and a nationally televised broadcast performance for the 2013 Mexican Independence Day festivities in Austin. He has also conducted the premiere of numerous works, primarily with the Sonorous ensemble, a group specializing in contemporary music that he co-founded in 2009. After his freshman year in college, Camacho was invited to serve on the faculty of the Sacramento Youth Symphony, primarily conducting their summer chamber workshop orchestras, coaching small ensembles, and overseeing the Composer-in-Residence program. 

Camacho is currently Lecturer in Music Theory, Aural Skills, and Composition at the University of the Incarnate Word and is on the teaching faculty of Austin Soundwaves, a youth music program benefiting the underserved area of East Austin, Texas, where he leads the wind ensemble and music theory programs, and teaches orchestra, violin, and viola. 

Austin Soundwaves follows the principles of El Sistema, established by Dr. Jose Abreu during the 1970s in Venezuela, among whose most notable alumni include Gustavo Dudamel, the Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the world-renowned Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela. 

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Camacho is also a Co-founder and Content/Development Lead at Picardy, an online education platform for building and developing music skills.

Originally from Northern California, Dr. Camacho earned degrees from Cal State Long Beach (B.M.), the University of Colorado at Boulder (M.M.) and a doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin in 2011. He studied composition with Donald Grantham, Dan Welcher, Yevgeniy Sharlat, Daniel Kellogg, Robin Cox, and Carolyn Bremer, violin with Kimiyo Takeya, conducting with Akira Endo, Richard Rintoul, and Samuel Krachmalnick and masterclasses with Pulitzer-Prize winners John Adams, William Bolcom, Jennifer Higdon, and Steve Reich. Camacho and his wife spend their free time watching the 49ers, SF Giants, Longhorns, or their toddler, Charlie, who endlessly harasses their two (very patient) cats.

Born in 1991, originating from Alexandroupoli, Greece and based in Thessaloniki.

Greg Bitter started studying music at the age of 10 and got his diploma in music theory by the age of 15.

One year later he started DJing and performed his first gig at the age of 17. By the age of 21 he started producing his own sounds, with four album releases to his credit.

Since that day he performed in a few gigs in Alexandroupoli, Thessaloniki, Kozani, Athens and was a radio producer on a local radio station.

He is also an artist member of Habitat Music Label, Creeping Records, D2 Records, Loopgroup Records and La Papilon.

He released 4 albums and EPs that can found on beatport, Juno & iTunes.

Influenced by John Tejada, Solan & Detroit Swindle, his main focus is to create a music based on human feelings and sensual grooves mixed with underground elements through his sets.

Martin “"DJ Paradise”" Santiago knew early on what he wanted to do. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, he began learning his craft by following his brother Frankie, who was also a deejay, by the age of twelve. Watching and learning, he began perfecting his skill and developed a passion for disco, followed by genres such as 80’s, Chicago house and electro. Then with the birth of freestyle, DJ Paradise found his niche. While starting off doing house parties and block parties in the neighborhood, it wasn’t long before he was entertaining many on the club scene.

 After moving upstate and playing clubs in that area, a fan base began to develop. What started off as an idea with Apollo Records (a record store in Buffalo) and local radio station 91.3 FM, evolved into the Freestyle File radio mix show which aided in the growth of the fan base. While the following was big, once out of college, the show unfortunately came to an end. However DJ Paradise and a few others teamed up and brought the Freestyle File back to life through the power of the Internet. The show ended up being a win/win situation for many around. Not only did Paradise get to mix the music he loved, but also the listeners got a little something as well such as hearing their favorite old school artists as well as be exposed to the new school. The artists also benefited because finally there was a deejay who would play their songs no matter what. And with the theory of wanting to make the fans happy, he managed to get many artists to make an appearance on the show. Artists that visited the show include, but are not limited to, George Lamond, Noel, Nyasia, Safire, Chris Barbosa, Corina, Aby (formerly of TKA), Ayna and Heartbrake.

 The File’s popularity was such that one time during a Live365 broadcast, he received a list of places were people were tuning in. That list included countries such as Lithuania, France, India, Turkey, Egypt, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Africa just to name a few. It was an indescribable feeling to know that one simple broadcast could reach so many different people around the world.

 Although successful at what he was doing, Paradise felt like something was missing and wanted to explore new avenues. By getting together with Buffalo producers the Santana Twins, he began to learn the art of editing. While some may wonder what the big deal is since it’s only slicing and putting it together, to Paradise it was more then that. He would create his own melodies that not only gave the songs a whole new sound and feel, but it had the public hearing those “same old songs” in a whole new light. As his fan base grew with his editing, he would get emails saying how fans would get lost in their own world of music lust.

 Some of his most well known edits are by freestyle artists such as Safire, George Lamond, Nyasia, Sweet Sensation, Cynthia and the Cover Girls. His latest edits were for Edwin Ramos on “"See You In My Heart" & "Tonight " by Joey Kidd. Primarily a freestyle deejay, he decided to give editing other forms of music a shot, such as Depeche Mode’s “"It Doesn’t Matter”" (which ended up on a Depeche Mode Remix Compilation) and German band Wolfshiem’s, “"Approaching Lightspeed”" who put the mix of the song up on their website. He is a fan of the pioneers of edits which include: The Latin Rascals, Chep Nunez, Omar Santana, Carlos Berrios and the Blade Runners just to name a few. He is now in a circle of new school editors from all over the globe at the Edit Headz Yahoo Group.

 When it comes to the freestyle world, Paradise has quite a list of accolades to his credit. Some of which include: "Ladies of Freestyle 2" on Metropolitan Records and "Banging Beats 2" on MicMac Records. He also put together an amazing show tape for Safire & Nyasia to use when they are on stage performing. In 2004, he had a weekly spot on the Latino Mix 105.9 New York city with Diamond Boy Luis and has reunited with him and is currently heard on Energy 101.1 (Phoenix, Arizona), Latino 96.3 (Los Angeles, California) and 1450 AM (Connecticut).

 His last effort was aiding in the completion of his wife, Freestyle Artist NYASIA, full length 2nd album. Together with Tazmania Records, "This Is Me" was released in late 2010 full of new & remixed songs as well as edits. The album is available now online or @ www.TazmaniaRecords.com
