Οι CAUSTIC REAL δημιουργηθηκαν το 2012 αρχικα ως τριο με τον Κωστα Καρκαλη στα ντραμs Δημητρη Στεργιοπουλο στο μπασο και Αστερη Λεκκα στα φωνητικα και στην κιθαρα . Επαιξαν ζωντανα σε διαφορους συναυλιακους χωρους στην Θεσσαλονικη και εκτος απο τις δικες τους εμφανισεις ανοιξαν τα live για τα συγκροτηματα ΜΩΡΑ ΣΤΗ ΦΩΤΙΑ και για τους Αθηναιους INVISIBLE SURFERS.
Tο σχημα συνεχισε ως duo με Αστεριο Λεκκα στην ηλεκτροακουστικη κιθαρα και φωνη και τον Κωστα Καρκαλη στα τυμπανα.Με αυτη την συνθεση εμφανιστηκαν ως support band στη unplugged εμφανιση των LAST DRIVE στο 8-BALL CLUB και πηραν πολυ καλες κριτικες απο το κοινο και διαφορα e-zines. To συγκροτημα διαλυθηκε το 2018

Aber Warte:mal! Who is this piece of cosmic poetry? Maybe you were bewitched by his magic and time travelling at Fusion last year. Or was it Garbicz? Oh yeah, Distortion! Naah, maybe Moyn Moyn?!
Aber Warte:mal, if music can transform consciousness, then he is living proof of it! You might doubt my words, but you'll rather not doubt your own eyes when you see him nor will you doubt your feelings when you step into his musical mind. Combining intelligence, mastery and playfulness, he immerses us in an hedonistic journey through our senses and invites us to just be and flow. There is no space for judgements in his universe. His sets often feel like entering a movie, in which you're captivated from the beginning and soon involved in the suspense, inviting you to indulge into the uncertainty where it will take you, but with the certainty that surrendering to his wilderness will guide you to the land of eternal mornings <3
