Charlie Thorstenson is a creative soul from Malmö, Sweden. Producer, live artist and dj. His sound can be described as warm and grainy acid soundscapes combined with a deep techno foundation. 

Imperfection makes perfection. Those are the leading words in his creative process. The fascination for finding unusual details and rhythms in long and unstable effect lines is a big part of the sound. It’s a close collaboration with both new and vintage hardware, where everyone gets to have their say. Long and improvised recordings are left with their unpredicted quirks. Often embracing them and giving them a leading role in the productions. 

The live element is important to Charlie. Both as a producer and performer. The released tracks can be seen as a suggestion, a sketch, or maybe just one out of many versions. On stage, the tracks are deconstructed and, together with the dancing souls on the floor, shaped into something new.
A drum machine, an acid synth and a legendary percussion box forms the improvised foundation in his live sets. In combination with live-manipulated recordings, the warm and dusty sound of Charlie is ensured.

His approach and dedication has gained massive recognition among the big names in the scene, and has led to several releases on Josh Wink's "Ovum Recordings”, a live performance at Richie Hawtins "ENTER." (at legendary Space Ibiza), as well as support from Dewitte, Anja Schneider, Gregor Tresher and Adriatique among many others.

“Start off with something depressing and sinister, then juxtapose it with something silly as fuck.” According to frontman and songwriter Andrew Scott, this has been 8-piece indie-pop band OhBree’s mission statement since day one.

This May, OhBree will be releasing their third full length record, Burn Bridges, Burn Pies - An album that they feel has connected the worlds of their previous releases. The troupe's first album, We Miss You Edward, Come Home, was a bizarre pit-orchestra-influenced spiral of 17 songs that manifested in a lighthearted theatrical headtrip, while the second LP, Death By Broomstick, took a much darker spin on the band’s pop sensibilities. Soon after Death By Broomstick, OhBree release their extremely well received EP called Feed Me Poison that Consequence of Sound described as, “A four-song odyssey into a world of weirdo guitar riffs and off-kilter piano arrangements.”

“Burn Bridges Burn Pies is the record that brings our message together,” says Andrew. “The themes remain dark, but we bring back the Monty Python/Dr. Seussian absurdity of our first record.” The album kicks off with a supervillain facet on songs like “Spine” and “Tiny Tethers” - it finds haunting and heavy dread through “Square Boxes, Square Thoughts” and “Motivation for a Dying Man” - and taps into the group’s surreal form of silliness with the tunes “Skeleton Ave” and “Which Doctor, Witch Doctor?”

Burn Bridges, Burn Pies will be released digitally and on beautiful blue vinyl records featuring the art of Debbie Fong on May 19th 2018. People’s Blues of Richmond brings a carnival-like mayhem to their dark, blues-infused psychedelia. The power trio’s new album "Quit or Die" is their third studio release and was recorded in Richmond, Va at The Ward Recording Studio with Ricky Olson. Within the past 24 months they have signed with Madison House Booking, toured full time, put out a full length album released June 10th, 2016 and recorded a 7-inch LP produced & engineered by the highly sought-after Mark Neill, the man behind The Black Key’s platinum-selling, Grammy-winning Brothers record.
“The reason we pursued Mark—we already had a pretty firm grasp on our frenetic live sound but making a song sound beautiful in the studio is a whole other animal,” says singer-guitarist Tim Beavers II. “Mark’s sound doesn’t come from a million digital studio tricks on his computer, but from a diligent set up, an intimate understanding of sound, and a belief in himself, his gear and in the bands he’s recording. Working with him, we learned how to push ourselves harder than ever before.”
With the anticipated new album on the way, word is starting to spread about the manic intensity of PBR’s live performances as they burn up the road, sharing bills with an impressive collection of artists from Tom Petty, ZZ Top, and The Allman Brothers to J Roddy Walston & the Business and festival favorites Modest Mouse & Gogol Bordello.
People’s Blues of Richmond co-founders and lifelong friends Beavers and Matt Volkes (bass, backing vox) began playing music together in college as a way to grieve the loss of a mutual friend. Those bleak, drug-fueled days pushed the two into an artistic bender of rock and blues that led to their 2011 debut LP, Hard-On Blues. They followed with the self-released Good Time Suicide in 2013, the album recorded on the exact same handmade ’68 Flickinger board used to record T. Rex’s Futuristic Dragon. Immediately following this album, People’s Blues of Richmond’s lineup finally solidified with the addition of friend and powerhouse drummer Neko Williams (son of Drummie Zeb of legendary reggae band The Wailers).
After years together, on the road and off, the three are more than just bandmates, they’re brothers. It’s a camaraderie that show in their music and beyond. “No matter what, we look out for each other,” Volkes says. “If I have a sandwich, Tim and Neko get a bite, too. We’re all in this together.”
“The whole concept behind People’s Blues of Richmond,” Beavers says, “is that we all struggle, we all experience pain. Life is full of highs and lows, and we all work hard to survive. So we do the only thing we know how—we get out on the road, and we keep moving forward. We become a part of something bigger than ourselves.”

I am Lightyear. I’m from San Diego California and have been living in Florida for the past 15 years, and I have been involved in music for most of my life.  I'm sure it is safe to say that musicians live, breathe, and devour music, and I am no exception. 

I love dance music like nothing else. Sure I enjoy other music, but dance music is something I will still be listening to when I’m 80. I will be the one geriatric guy with a huge sound system in my car playing the latest EDM or whatever is popular at that time whilst pulling up to the old folk’s home!

When I was 16, I began to learn to craft my own songs. I studied how others crafted their songs. Later, in the 1980's I toured with a band on Capitol/EMI records. I even wrote two of the songs on the album. The band had minor success on the dance charts with two of the songs 

I wrote. I am a very positive person, and I didn’t want to put anything negative in my bio, but the band stole the two songs I wrote, and they gave me a special thanks on the album. I learned later that one of the brothers in the band committed suicide. Looking back, I saw all the signs of a troubled soul, a soul who took and never gave. I am truly sorry it came to this. 

I used to spend a lot of time in clubs dancing the hours away to dance music where I learned the beats and syncopation. At the age of 17, I learned about a club called, “The Monastery, “while I was still in High school, and it was the only club in Seattle that was underage. This place was incredible. The owner was a shady character from NYC, and he used to burn frankincense and Myrrh in the furnace, so, as he puts it, you would wake up from whatever drug you took, and remember where you had been the night before.

 It worked, not that I did drugs, but my clothes wreaked of that smell mixed in with cigarettes, and I instantly remembered where I had been. He called the place a church, so he wouldn’t have to pay taxes. To most of the street kids, it was home, and a warm place to stay. He had airplane seats downstairs and a full screen movie area that played cult hits. 

The best part of that place was the sound system. It sported 4 Phase Linear amps that pumped out a combined total of 2000 watts of bass. The people who lived two blocks away would complain that the bass was in their homes. I could actually hear and feel it a block away.  I knew I was almost home the moment I stepped foot outside my car. “The Monastery,” was actually a beautiful old wooden church, and the wood acted like a great acoustic sound box. 

This is where I first heard hard cutting Disco music that nobody heard on the radio at the time aside from songs like, Funky Town, and Heart of Glass. Back then we had indie label’s that put out music you could only buy at specialty shops that carried DJ records. 

This is where I learned about dance music, and how it was crafted. Mind you, you still have to create a melody, but I began to understand syncopation, hooks, and format. II am still learning today, and will till the day I die. You can never know enough, because although the basic elements stay the same, the music keeps changing. 

I never really expected to be involved in music the way I am today. I gave up on music altogether and decided to pursue a degree in computer networking, but I was bored. 

I heard some club music that got me excited again, and I decided to get involved in a big way. I had a track I wrote that was sung by my friend, “Tina Fisher,” played on BBC Introducing. I have been played on several radio stations including, “Colin’s Cut’s,” on Kane FM 103.7 in London, UK. My tracks have also played in numerous dance clubs up and down the East Coast and West Coast, Hawaii, and Europe.

JasijahX (born Jasijah Aleczander Smith December 23, 1991) hails from the Pacific Northwest; Portland, Oregon to be exact. His family moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2004. In 2010 while attending Grambling State University on a football scholarship; he made the tough decision to leave college, return to Georgia and pursue his passion for the art of rap. 
JasijahX is a lyricist, one of the last of a dying breed. He is heavily influenced by his Northwestern roots but you can definitely feel the grit of that Georgia red clay in the stories he tells with a delivery that is passionate clear and precise. Growing up in a single parent household and watching his mother struggle to provide for he and his older brother gave him a strong sense of respect for the plight of young women. "I just want to make all women feel beautiful and wanted" says JasijahX 
The youngest member of the Burn Unit (a conglomerate of DJ's, artists, producers and film makers founded by the late Legendary DJ BigKap "The Wardin") JasijahX was hand picked by DJ Big Kap for his lyrical prowess and his commercial appeal. He has already begun to catch the attention of some of the music industry's most respected label executives, radio programmers, artists and dj's across the country. JasijahX is currently slated to release his first official single Tonight featuring Anthony Lewis followed by his debut EP AnybodyWantToHearASong.

Zetan Spore was originally formed in West Cornwall, UK by Ian Hasdell in 1995. After being inspired by psychedelic rock in the late 80's and it's evolution into early dance acts such as Eat Static and Astralasia, and then by the birth of psytrance in the first half of the 90's, Ian bought a second hand Amiga 1200 computer and started arranging samples to form his own style of psychedelic dance music. After releasing his first album, "Alien Frequencies" in 1996 and then getting heavily into the world of synths and sampling, his twin brother Mark came on board, playing guitar and didgeridoo to form their unique synergistic partnership.
    Together they brought out the next Zetan Spore album, "Visitation" in 1997 and were then signed to Aardvark Records, where they have so far released another ten albums: "The Pillars of Creation" (1998), "Subspace Distortions" (1999), "Outer Space Hopper Safari" (2001), "Transwarp Audio Head Drive" (2002), "Burn Up" (2004), "Escape Velocity" (2005), "Flux" (2007), "Tribes of the Stars" (2010), "Psilocybia" (2013) and their latest release "Dimensions" (2018).
    Having played their first gig in 1997 and being more motivated by the live side of music, they have kept their set-up almost entirely hardware-based for live performance and after playing hundreds of gigs over the coming years, have remained one of the few genuinely live psytrance acts around.
    The highlights of Zetan Spore's extensive live performances include playing to a 25,000 strong crowd at the Euphoria Festival in Singapore, a stunning set high up in the Swiss Alps with Visions of Paradise and headline sets for Antiworld, Synergy Project, Whirl-y-Gig, Sunrise, Cabbage, Remedy, Conscious Monkeys and Symbiosis, plus top slots at Waveform, Beautiful Days, Sunrise, Bearded Theory, Alchemy, Cosmo, Symmetry, Endorse It, Off The Tracks and Eastern Haze festivals, not to mention hundreds of other live appearances at festivals, live music venues and clubs.
    Their music can best be described as truly psychedelic, driving, full-power psytrance, breaking in huge waves of energy and positivity, with didgeridoo-fuelled tribal breaks and searing guitar riffs adding more depth and power to their sound.
    Having a reputation for incredibly energetic and uplifting live performances, and taking the crowd to a whole new level, they've built up a large and enthusiastic following and never fail to rock the dancefloor.
