GraVil are a melodic thrash metal/death metal band formed in 2007 by musically open minded friends whom envisioned writing music completely unpolluted by the outside world. A band that wrote music for their own personal pleasure, influenced by “Penderecki”, “Metallica”, “Megadeth”, “At The Gates”, “Carcass”, “Children Of Bodom”, “Amorphis” and their own wholly original take on metal. Chris Rogers of Metalmayhem webzine described their sound -

“There are so many different styles on here ranging from Melodic Death and Thrash, to Hardcore and Metalcore and yet they still manage to put their own stamp on things and inject originality throughout.”



The 2007 beginnings of GraVil caught the band unaware of the reaction their music would meet, and this was to be the start. This tremendous feedback saw GraVil starting work on an online presence, beginning with Myspace, to share their music with the world, and they were to be received with open arms. 2008 saw the “Something Worth Chasing EP” independently released. It sold out 2 production runs, and unable to keep up with demand, the band pressed samplers as opposed to finished cd's, and gave these away free, worldwide. The title track would accumulate airplay on a substantial amount of radio stations all over the globe. This was just the beginning.



The band spent the next 6 months writing a second EP, “The Age Of Corruption” with production duties handled by Dan Abela (Sarah Jezebel Deva, Voices). The results were humbling. The EP counted amongst its fans and admirers Kerrang!, Rock Sound, and Terrorizer (Who would also give the band a “Choice Cuts” feature) . The title track would also be play listed by many radio stations and opening track “Helmsman” enjoyed many worldwide radio appearances, including Ian Camfield’s XFM Rock Show.



On the back of such great press, Universal signed up the distribution for the 5 track EP and it quickly populated all the major digital download sites worldwide and was placed on HMV's rock/metal home page.

The single 'March Of The Titans' featuring James McIlroy (Cradle Of Filth/Chaosanct) was released on 24th January 2010. The video was play listed by Scuzz TV and the track itself received airplay on many international radio stations including Bruce Dickinson’s radio 6 rock show.

In 2012 GraVil headed back in to Escape Route Studios with Dan Abela to give the full length album the well deserved sound it needed. 

GraVil are now a very active 5 piece with Grant Stacey heading up the vocals, Tony Dando and Andy Slade taking up guitar duties, Nathan ‘Sparx’ Lamb on bass and Conor Harkness on drums. The quintuplet have performed for Terrorizer Grindhouse supporting symphonic black metallers “Saturnian”, for Unified Sounds supporting metal giants “Beholder” and “Man Of Kin”, for Bowtell Promotions supporting the legendary “Kyrbgrinder” proving that this dynamic band are at home whatever the venue, whomever the headliner and whatever the sub genre of metal/rock. 
Tom Dare witnessed and reviewed a GraVil show for “Terrorizer Magazine” saying:

"GraVil open this evening's Grindhouse in fine fashion, showcasing some fantastic shred among the riffage, able to do the blistering stuff nicely while confident to slow things down to serve the songs”

    Οι Anna’s Shoe δημιουργήθηκαν στην Πάτρα στα μέσα του 2010. Εκείνη την περίοδο , ο Χρήστος ( ο κιθαρίστας )  , είχε υλικό – γραμμένο και ετοιμοπαράδoτο- αλλά κανέναν  να το «παίξει» μαζί... οπότε μπήκε στη διαδικασία να βρεί μέλη ώστε να φτιάξει την δικιά του μπάντα.
    Σε εκείνο το σημείο λοιπόν σκέφτηκε τον Δημήτρη ο οποίος είχε μπει εμβόλιμος σε μια προηγούμενη μπάντα του ακριβώς και λίγο πιο πριν την... τελευταία στιγμή.Ακούγοντας το υλικό ο Δημήτρης δέχθηκε χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη και το μόνο που είχε απομείνει , ήταν να βρεθεί ο κατάλληλος drummer.
…Περνάει κάποιο διάστημα ακρόασης ικανοτήτων απο επιδέξιους drummers αλλά επειδή τα όρια και οι επιλογές είχαν αρχίσει να στενεύουν, ο Χρήστος πίεσε τον Μήτσο να σκεφτεί κάποιον ο οποίος θα ήταν ο ένας και μοναδικός και έτοιμος για αυτό το project.-Και ναι! Ο Δημήτρης σκέφτηκε έναν ψηλό που δουλεύαν μαζί στο παρελθόν...τον Θύμιο.
    Είναι στο τηλέφωνο λοιπόν ο Θύμιος με τον Μήτσο και ενώ φαίνεται λίγο  διστακτικός αρχικά ο πρώτος, τελικά δέχεται μιας και εκείνη την περίοδο δεν είχε κάτι καλύτερο να κάνει.
    Μετά από ένα χρόνο περίπου ( αφού υπήρχαν ανάμεσα γιορτές και δαίμονες ) οι Anna’s Shoe είχαν την παρθενική τους εμφάνιση σε ένα rock bar της Πάτρας και έπειτα ακολούθησαν κι άλλα...δυνατά live perfomances κυρίως στην Πάτρα.
    Με τον ερχομό του 2014 οι Anna’s Shoe ξανασμίγουν , έπειτα απο μία διακοπή που υπήρξε στην μπάντα για κάποιο χρονικό διάστημα , και έχοντας στο παρασκήνιο ένα demo με τίτλο « Anna’s Shoe – Live » , έρχονται στο προσκήνιο με νέα κομμάτια
και όρεξη για δημιουργία και τρέλα!!! 

Anna's Shoe formed in Patras in 2010. At that time, Christ,the mad guitar guy, found himself with a ton of written material and no one to get to play it with so he immediatelly started looking for members to create his own band. That's when he thought of Dimitri, a bass-for-hire that had filled in at the last moment in a gig of his. Upon hearing his work, Dimitri accepted at once and the only thing left was for the two of them to find a drummer. 
It would be a cruel month of auditioning but then, during an alcohol induced epiphany, Dimitri thought of a drummer that used to work with in the past, Tall Tim. Upon calling him, Tim seemed a little reluctant but accepted anyway ,as he had nothing better to do. 
After almost a year of painfull practise the band finally had its first live in a local club followed by a couple more... 
So that's it... We are still creating, jamming, and performing.

The now mythic trio, We Are Wolves, presents an honest and uncatchable sound; a bit like celestial lightning hitting a sacred mountaintop. Mainly inspired by visual arts, they paint a post-punk landscape, scattered with analog trees. Their primitive approach remains true to their animal of predilection: untamable. Disciples of rock and electronica - it’s at the junction of those two movements that We Are Wolves made their den. In 2005, that fusion materialized itself in the form of Non Stop Je te Plie en Deux on the American label Fat Possum. The press soon followed with articles in Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Spin and shows at famous international festivals like Eurockéennes (France), Dour Fest (Belgique), Virgin Festival (Toronto), Great Escape (UK) and LA Weekly Detour Festival (L.A.). We Are Wolves shared the stage with And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Gossip, Gorillaz and Bloc Party. They also played a total of 400 concerts in Europe, USA and Canada.
End of May 2007 brought the single “Fight and Kiss” on Dare to Care Records. They then successively released their second and third full-length albums Total Magique (2007) and Invisible Violence (2009) on the Montreal-based label. Both critically acclaimed albums received good press from the NY Times, CMJ Report and Spin Magazine. After more than 100 concerts across Canada and the United States since the release of their last album, We Are Wolves are ready for more.
Fall 2012, Alexander Ortiz and Vincent Lévesque made an official announcement: Pierre-Luc Bégin, from Montreal’s band Polipe, is their newest member, replacing longtime drummer Antonin Marquis. This new dynamic sets the shape of things to come: the formation is back in studio and ready to offer its devotees a fourth sacrifice on the altar of rock. Scheduled to be released in February 2013, La Mort Pop Club channels indescribable electric fields of post- punk adrenaline. Emerging from an endless trance, the wolves are back on the prowl.

Henry's Funeral Shoe was formed by two brothers in 2008 from South Wales, inspired and influenced by many of the albums that singer/guitarist Aled Clifford had looted from his father's vinyl collection when he was growing up. The Who, CCR, Peter Green, Robert Johnson and the Beatles were favourites, and Aled quickly became a gifted guitar player, aided and taught by Ned Edwards, a long time collaborator of Van Morrison.  

Aled soon played with various bands, eventually doing some recording sessions for producer Ian Grimble, and even recording at the legendary Abbey Road studios. His younger brother Brennig started playing drums at nine. At fifteen he joined a local band, learning his trade by performing covers of The Clash and Thin Lizzy before moving on to writing original material. The dexterous brothers have finally joined forces to create some of the loudest soulful rock'n'roll to come out the UK in a long time.
