A little musical journey through the ice-cold tundra of Western Siberia: We accompany the young girl Nadia, who is on the run of the Tartars in the middle of our story and entrusts herself to a courier of the tsar ;-)   or something like that.  In any case, I like Vladimir Cosma's theme so much that I turned it into a small suite.  My piano teacher from Claviertuoso Education patiently supported me in getting started with Ableton 12.

Written in 2002, I recorded a slower version of it in 2007. I attempted to merge both in 2015 but the result wasn't well produced and this version today merges the three ideas musically and lyrically properly. Finally what I've been trying to say in a song perfectly in tune with what I want to project about this existence from the only opinion that can really say that I suppose for this song. What I also hope people can absorb some of that love and well we know what love usually does for someone else when it's fresh! So here's some musical breeze I used to just give myself for marking the pleasure and pain 😊 This is also like a musical fine wine really. Barrelled in 2002. Checked in 2007. More ingredients! Using a beautiful recording I have of @stellato-strings playing her violin, this is both my testing techniques for the collaboration I'm doing with poet Praise Jourdain with their "ô delirious God" collection - and its my offering to this week's @naviar-records haiku challenge, more information about which is below:

This haiku by Lisa Germany is part of the Stay Cool project - a collaboration between Naviar Records and Red Earth Ecology that aims to promote techniques for Japanese-inspired prose and foster international collaboration.

Lisa is a multidisciplinary artist whose work begins with walking, preferably in wild places. Rooted in awe and attentive to the natural world, she writes haiku and haibun in the traditional Japanese tradition, seeking moments of beauty in everyday experience.

The Stay Cool project will culminate in an exhibition in the city of Griffith, Australia from 20 April.
