My History:
A resident of Albany, NY, Eric David first came into the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene after attending the "Raves" of Woodstock 1999.
Eric began DJing (Trance genre) in 2004, with the name DJ Foreplay, opening for Hectyc Productions' "Electric City Fridays" at Clinton Street Pub (Schenectady, NY). He also performed at "Goodship Tuesdays" at B.R. Finley's (Troy, NY). In 2006, Eric David formed AREA518, hosting free, monthly EDM events at The Block House and Clinton Street Pub (Schenectady, NY).
In 2009, he decided to switch to the House genre and perform under the name Eric David. He lists his main influences as Armin Van Buuren, Quintinno, Hardwell, Dad Life, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Wolfgang Gartner. Eric's style is one of high energy with a focus on long blends and a desire to hype the crowd. Whether tens or thousands it is always 110%.
Eric is also heavily involved in EDM promotion having promoted for local, regional, national and global-event production companies and dance music labels, including Avid Artist Management, Columns of Knowledge, Hectyc Productions, Mass EDMC, Moonshine Records, NV Concepts, Peep This, Nettwork, Steez Promo and U is Nation, PrimeTime Events, and artists, including Collette, Cirrus, Dara, Deiselboy, Donald Glaude, DJ Irene, Ferry Corsten, Knowledge, Micro, Pleasurehead, Richard "Humpty" Vision and Tiesto.
Eric has performed as an supporting act for artists, including Tiesto, Quinntino, Tommy Trash (all in front of his home city crowd), Angel Alanis, Frankie Bones, DJ Scotto, Tommy Sunshine, Superstar DJ Keoki, Udachi, Dara, Bare, Deiselboy and X-Dream and has had several radio/internet broadcast appearances including an appearance on ARMADA FM.
In 2012 Eric took things to the next level as a event host, starting a new monthly event an collaborating with several local DJ's to form interesting and diverse tag teams. The new monthly event, UNITY, has become one of the most anticipated club nights in Albany NY.
Enter 2013 and Eric had definitely not slowed at all. Two new weekly residencies, performing main stage for one of the biggest local events this year and forming a new tag team (Loosey Goosey) that is quickly gaining major attention. Eric became part of the DJ roster for PLUM Radio. He is also part of the Plurfect Inc. roster and company, In 2013 Eric also founded ACE Productions, a company started for his son. Eric also gained backed by the labels Rustic Justice, Vice Versa, and Skunk Butter Records. To even further growth in the EDM scene Eric began production of original material with friends Joker and Hoodris$h.
After nearly 100 shows in 2013 Eric heads in to 2014 with a Beatport release on the horizon and several out of area booking including Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City. Eric has also expanded his UNITY event to a second home in Syracuse.

DJ/Producer/Label owner at Look Ahead Music.
Born and raised in California. It was around 7th grade when I saw a few movies that planted the seeds of artistic expression in my blood.
Those two movies were "Breakin" and "Beat Street". The dancing, the graffiti and most of all the music I heard changed my life. At 13 years old, all I wanted was 2 turntables and a mixer to rock the party like they did in the Bronx. 
I went from listening to my older brother and sisters hand me down records and tapes of The Cure, English Beat , Depeche Mode on one spectrum and KISS, Van Halen and Ozzy on the other . Once I found my own niche I discovered Africa Baambata , Egytption Lover and Nucleus which in turn sculpted and paved the way to my roots for djing and now producing.
At 14 I met a dj named Kenny who worked at a "pro-sound" shop I heard about thorugh another friend and he told me he can get me a pair of 1200's new in the box for $500 bucks.
I knew not to ask how.
 How was I gonna get $500 dollars at 14? You tell mom and dad you love them a whole lot and explain this deal will never come again and I want to be a DJ....
Kenny came through and so did my awesome parents. By age 15 I had a crate of records along with my set up to mix on.
I would practice every day and night and save every penny I could to buy 12" records from Music Plus, the local record store. I got a job spinning records at the Roller Skating rink where i spent a lot of time skating and making friends. 
As years passed and music evolved , so did I. Fast forward to 1990, I started hearing HOUSE music, and that was it for me. I had to get me some good house music to mix with and the shops in town didnt have much of that. I heard there were like 5 record shops in L.A. that specialized in HOUSE and TECHNO and thats where I saw these fliers with DJs like Frankie Bones , Steve Loria and Doc Martin, these were the guys that were out in the "Underground" and they had the Goods. HOUSE and TECHNO, the music that has been a part of me ever since.
Through the years I met some new friends who were sound techs for a company called HEARTBEAT SOUND, They provided sound for these "undergrounds". Needless to say I joined the team. Through this outlet I had the opportunity to play on a proper soundsystem and really sharpen my mixing techniques. When we went to do sound at these warehouses or outdoor festivals I was introduced to promoters and other like minded djs who had some established gigs going on. I had some "demo" mix tapes I always carried around with me to put in the hands of someone who new the"promoters" Eventually my tape ended up in the hands of someone who liked what they heard and in 1996 was asked by Eli Star to open for Doc Martin at Magic wednesdays in L.A. 
Over the pandemic of 2019/20 I met Christian Kestar who has become my friend ,mentor and label partner at Look Ahead Music.
