Originally born and raised in England, currently living in Trinidad & Tobago. This "slacker" who happens to be an aspiring music composer & producer, was inspired to do remixes in 1997 when he was listening to the radio, and heard some of his favorite Reggae/Dancehall songs remixed on Hip-Hop beats. He never could get his hands on those wicked remixes that we're being played so he decided to make his own. Finally he got the tools & taught himself how to make remixes around 2002. He also began producing beats within that same year, remixing songs onto his very own productions & promoting his creations ever since. He also made several mixtapes & remix compilations.  Throughout the years he's had many hit remixes that have been in rotation on FM radio stations, mixtape CD's, concerts and nightclubs worldwide.

You may know him as Jah Cure. Perhaps you know him by his given name, Siccaturie Alcock. But as the saying goes, “What’s in a name?” Most importantly, you must know his message. His music is at once his spirit, his all-consuming passion, and his personal declaration of a belief in a universal consciousness based on love and positivity.

Born in Hanover, Jamaica on October 11th, 1978, the global force that is Jah Cure has been a long time in the making. From as little as three years old, this child of slight build would captivate those around him with his innate musical virtuosity. As he and his love for the art grew, the young man whose voice would make any songbird green with envy would sneak out of his bedroom window late at night to visit local dancehalls and stage shows. It was here that he became immersed in the stylings of the undisputed greats: Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Burning Spear, Beres Hammond, Marcia Griffith, Garnett Silk, Yami Bolo, Jacob Miller and Black Uhuru. A young Siccaturie knew that he would dedicate himself to achieving membership of this superlative group.

Initially using the name ‘Little Melody’, Siccaturie’s voice started to leave an indelible impression in the streets and he soon became the talk of Jamaica. At the age of fifteen, he moved to Kingston. The name Jah Cure was bestowed upon him by the world-renowned Capleton and the David House Crew. This was primarily due to the vast amount of herb he smoked in the quest for spiritual enlightenment - a daily custom of his Rastafarian religion and commitment to natural living. Using the plants of the land for medicinal purposes, the singer looked young and healthy. He was ‘well-preserved’ or ‘cured’. Jamaican music icon, Beres Hammond, subsequently took Cure under his wing and became his mentor and producer.

However, Cure’s journey would be unexpectedly interrupted when in 1998 he was stopped and arrested late one night in Montego Bay. He was charged with four crimes, all of which he vehemently denies to this day. A non-jury trial was convened (one in which a single judge decides both questions of law and fact) and unfortunately, despite a total lack of visual confirmation of his involvement in said crimes, Cure was given a 15 year sentence.Not letting this setback disrupt his dream, Cure recorded and released many #1 singles from jail. The songs "Jamaica" and "Longing For" were both local and global successes. Cure’s first album, FREE JAH’S CURE, was recorded and released in 2001. On this project, Cure conveys his gratitude for life. He believes his incarceration was Jah’s way of teaching him humility, kindness, forgiveness and love for his fellow man. Consequently, he has relinquished any resentment for those who judged him unjustly. In 2003, Beres Hammond produced Cure’s second album, GHETTO LIFE, which featured the acclaimed single Divide and Rule.

On his first day of freedom Cure publicly stated that his only remaining life goal would be to use his music as a means of spreading love, peace and healing. Since 2007, Jah Cure has topped the charts with several # 1 singles - Call on Me, featuring Phyllisia, followed by You’ll Never Find, and Unconditional Love, which quickly became the #1 reggae single worldwide. The song Like I See It, featuring Rick Ross, and the remix with dancehall king Mavado, undeniably rocked the international reggae scene.Released in 2013, the album WORLD CRY featured collaborations with the talents of Tupac, Keri Hilson, Mavado, MDMA, Rick Ross, Jazmine Sullivan, Shyne and several others. It can confidently be described as an auditory explosion that crossed and entwined the genres of reggae, hip hop, R&B, Latin and pop.

His most recent album, THE CURE, dominated the billboard reggae charts for a phenomenal 36 weeks and was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

Four-member group Smokey Robotic features singer-songwriters Seer and Father Dude, backed by production duo !llmind and Konrad OldMoney. Boasting an eclectic sound that spans electronic, soul, pop and hip hop, they invented their own unique genre called "Superfuture."

Seer, who hails from London, has been singing and recording since age 11, while his vocal counterpart, Father Dude, is fully-versed in all genres. !llmind, perhaps most known for his work with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. In just two years, Smokey Robotic has recorded over 200 songs, filmed 18 videos, and joined forces with renowned artists like Redman, Eek-A-Mouse, Skyzoo, and Korean megastars Yoon Mi Rae & Tiger JK. The band’s originality and versatility has garnered the attention of major media outlets like The Atlantic, New York Magazine, NY Post, The Source and TMZ as well as prominent music blogs including 2DopeBoyz, DJ Booth, IndieShuffle, MTV Hive, Pigeons & Planes and more.

The group has been featured in a national TV campaign for Movado watches, charted number one on The Hype Machine Twitter Music Chart and was chosen as the top A&R Pick on CrazedHits.com. Fanuel Julius better known as Fanny is a DJ/Producer who was born in Alphen aan den rijn. His passion for music started a long time ago, but the moment he realized that he wants to do something with music started in 2013. During the last years he saw a lot of progress in his DJ skills, but didn't realized that making music is also an important factor to be unique. Since September 2014 he tried to produce some music and remixed some existing songs with his own creativity.

Secondly, and most importantly, welcome to the Country Hi-fi sound with music to please a myriad of tastes. On an island on the very edge of Europe, Northern Ireland, an ocean away from the birthplace of reggae and not necessarily the first port of call when looking for good reggae music made inna roots and culture style. However, by making quality music inspired by a love of the music from Jamaica and the ethos behind it's creation, Country Hi-fi is doing it's best to put Northern Ireland firmly on the reggae map.

The name 'Country Hi-fi' is related to the country upbringing of founding member 'Pugs' while also being a tribute to the late great King Tubby and his pioneering sound which echoes far and wide. The Country Hi-fi sound was brought to life in a project called 'Small Town Roots' (available on iTunes) which involved two friends: hip-hop producer/DJ/MC DAZ (www.soundcloud.com/dazmusic) and Pugs (reggae fan and self-taught musician) practically living in a studio for a week with each side bringing their own ingredients to the mix. The result was a series of songs inspired by the roots reggae traditions while telling stories through the songs, which relate to various events in Pugs' life growing up in a small country town.

The Country Hi-fi sound is dedicated to making music with the original enthusiasm and willingness to experiment as our pioneering brothers and sisters in Jamaica so although you can expect to hear lots of one-drop reggae, ska, rocksteady, lovers rock etc. don't be surprised to hear some digital dancehall, house, hip-hop, or even some UK hip-hop/grime style beats, and various remixes, mash ups, and versions: feel free to download and share any tracks you like and spread the word. 

With Pugs working as a one-man-band, engineer, producer, and occasional songwriter, he has managed to work on projects with artists from all over the globe and is always open and happy to collaborate with other artists on whatever the project may be, so don't be afraid to use the drop box, respond to requests on tracks, or send a message about any enquiries you may have.

Pugs also presents a weekly reggae show on Skank FM (an online radio station in Belfast, Northern Ireland, www.skankfm.com) from 6-8pm (GMT) bringing the best in caribbean vibes with tracks from way back in the day to the hottest tracks in the Jamaican chart and everything else in between from hip-hop, DnB, soul, grime, and reggae from  all around the world. Get on board and tune in for an education in reggae music and all it has to offer.

Jamaican dancehall entertainer Eton “Kalado” Gordon was born and raised in the Maxfield Park area of Kingston, until he moved to Clarendon at the age of five. He attended Edwin Allen High School, with a keen focus on the visual arts. 

After graduating from high school, he returned to Kingston to pursue his artistic passion, which by then had transcended to music. Kalado’s musical influences included Bounty Killer, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Drake, Lil’ Wayne and Eminem.

To hone his skills, Kalado would frequently attend local dub plate and recording studios. After this, Kalado founded G-Law Records, and released singles such as Badmind A Kill Dem, Sad Streets, and others. 

His work with producers J Cannon, ICON, Cash Flow, Hitmaker and extensive work with producer Dre Day caught the attention of Jamaican music legend Bounty Killer, who invited him to become a part of his Alliance Next Generation musical clique. 

Bounty Killer collaborated with Kalado on the 2012 single When She Wine, which was followed by the popular Nuh Gyal Caan Tear Mi and Whole Night. These records prepared him for the groundbreaking year that 2013 would be for him.

In 2013, Kalado became a formidable force in the dancehall music industry as he became a radio staple for the general public with the singles Make me Feel, Good Good Bring Life, and Body Nuh Dead. These songs became immensely popular, accumulating millions of views on YouTube, topped charts and led to several media outlets to position Kalado as dancehall’s next elite member. A testament to this was the overwhelming crowd response that Kalado received for his performance at the Youth View Awards in February 2014.

For 2014, Kalado has already seen success with the release of his Pree Money and Gyal/Pay Dem Nuh Mind medley video. The medly video has reached the number one spot on CVM’s Hitlist, and is currently still charting within the top five tier of TVJ’s Entertainment Report. The video has also been an internet favourite on industry-leading blogs and websites. 

To further cement his mark, Kalado is working on his debut extended play, slated for completition later year. Until the project’s release, listeners can look out for his singles Jealously In The Air, Yardcore Sex, Out In Time, and Turn It Dah Way Yeh. Another single, the afrobeat-tinged Personally, will be receiving a visual treatment for release in April due to immense fan demand.

In addition to singles, listeners can look out for an electronic dance music remix of Make Me Feel, and Kalado performances in the Caribbean, Canada, UK, and wider Europe this year.

Christopher “Basta Hitz” Sebastiaan was born February, 1988 in the heart of Amsterdam. Christopher always had a passion for musical arts and in result, became a Dutch Hip-Hop artist. The talented musician recorded his first mixtape, "Goldenstatus" in 2013 and immediately caught the attention of several nationwide radio stations. Basta then created a underground chart-topper, titled, "Sorry” ft. Jay Reezy". The record gained such an enourmous amount of positive feedback that Basta Hitz entered his name on the “watch list” of major record labels. 

Several well-known producers instantly requested to work with Basta, who eventually produced a hit single, called, “Suga Lala”. The song was released during the Summer of 2014, so the gifted Emcee decided to supply his audience with versitility by producing a variety of beats and finally generated a EP, called, “Pass Di Dutch”. Basta Hitz then released the dancehall favourite, named, “Happydays”, which was later followed by the more successful hit, “Summerparty”. 

Although Basta Hitz has been known to resemble the style of certain established hitmakers, such as, ‘Sean Paul’ and ‘Pitbull’, he nurtured his own unique style widely considered as, 'Reggae Hip-Hop’. A series of hit records ensued from Basta’s success, including the enlightening track, “Cashflow”, and the intriguing single, “This Maze”. In 2015, multiple hits emerged for Basta Hitz. The most notable projects include his popular creations, “Shawty”, “Asthma Attack”, and “These Games”, all of which helped maintain the rapper’s progressing portfolio. 

Basta joined the Envy Music Group alongside several other principle rappers from England to America, and a collaboration of dynamic vocalists were formed. The team of artists released the popular records, ‘MG2’ and 'MG3', which were particularly successful in New York. Basta Hitz continued his career and released Hip-Hop favourites as a solo artist and in combination with the EnvyMG crew. By the summer of 2015, the exceptional hit-maker recorded several adult rated and highly sophisticated songs, such as, “Pretty Girl”, “Summertime” and “Hit it Right”. In the Winter of 2016, Basta Hitz resigned from the EnvyMG crew and chose to focus all his ambition on a solo career. 

Immidiately he dropped several new songs. He established his popularity in the USA with a hit release, called, “Gametime”. 

In 2016, Hitz fully reserved his spot in the “Top of the Underground” when Hip-Hop legends, ‘Salt n Pepa’ recognized his talent from his hit single, “Pretty Girl” on Twitter. Currently, Basta has several projects in motion while recently releasing a brand new track, “All Mine ft. Audrianaha”. (http://www.basta-hitz.com).
