Day 7 of Rifftober.

I know, I'm breaking the rules to upload something a day late, but I couldn't resist this one. Plus, it let's me show off my new EHX Flatiron Fuzz.

Day 14 of Rifftober.
Something different (and admittedly weird) for today's track. Most of the time when recording, you want to eliminate as much noise as possible. For today's prompt, I decided to use that noise. The backing "tick" (and all of the noises at the beginning of the track) come from the click of my pickup selector switch (and an unintentional but providential electrical pop). Add some shimmer reverb, and you have a weird, spooky (but maybe interesting?) riff.

The word Compass makes me think of camping, which makes me think of campfires, which makes me think of fingerstyle acoustic guitar. (I know, my brain is a wonderful place!) Enjoy this rendition of Blackberry Smoke's "Randolph County Farewell."

My morning's work. The title is a Scots Gaelic phrase meaning "Bells and Piano." Done entirely with the suite of instruments from Spitfire Labs. Go check them out; they're incredible!
