With his family’s gifted musical talents, Yanik carries musicality forward to the next generation. The 20 year old artist from Groningen, Netherlands, began his journey on the drums at a young age before later picking up the piano. This early start helped him develop a deep understanding of both rhythm and melody, forming a strong foundation that allows him to craft a unique and dynamic sound.

His Tech House style, influenced by House, stands out with its signature groovy and clean basslines, giving his productions a unique character. Lately, he has been experimenting more and more with analog gear, adding warmth and authenticity to his music, making it even more personal and refined.

His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. He has already gained attention from events like KopjeK, ELLA, Rubberboot and Audio Obscura where he opened the Highway Rave on the Ring A10 in Amsterdam. Through the ‘Kweekvijver’ project by Michel de Hey, Yanik earned the opportunity to perform in the Loods at Thuishaven, a milestone that highlighted both his sound and potential as an artist. Currently, he is further developing his skills at one of the most respected music academies, the Herman Brood Academy, where he continues to refine his sound.
