Once the sun goes down, Fox and The Owl saunter out of the dusky woodlands to bring you their distinctive musical sounds. Defined by the warm vocal harmonies of Lucy and Lauren, Fox and The Owl play their own style of modern PsyFolk with influences of jazz, trip hop, and dub.



Original songwriting with strong environmental messages, Fox and The Owl are a festival favourite among those in the know, they can bring warmth to a sunny afternoon and offer uplifting lively atmosphere to the evening.

Think Fleetwood Mac meets Morcheeba with hints of  Portishead, Grateful Dead, Rising Appalachia and Amy Winehouse. 

This is a band that you want to go and see.

Honey Be Records was set up in May 2008 by bh one to release the debut album from The Sables. As with many things we do it was partly a case of going into the unknown, simply aided by blind enthusiasm and a determination to promote and champion a band whose music we love dearly.

At the moment we have no grand plans, but when the right sounds come along and take our breath away, and there is a mutual admiration beyond the music, then we would undoubtedly like to expand our catalogue. Our tastes have no boundaries, we just love music that moves us, be it physically, mentally or spiritually.
