Used to shout through open streets
Laugh too loud, no sense of sleep
Seventeen felt infinite
Every move felt legitimate
Now the house just breathes real slow
Dust on frames from long ago
Old clips saved inside my phone
Faces fade but the feel still close
Backseat nights, cheap tape sound
Shared silence, no one around
Felt like home without a name
Felt like fire without the flame
I don’t miss it how it was
I miss who I was back then
Not the noise, not the rush
Just the ease inside my head
