Songwriter and guitar player Anders Vinther is a young Danish artist. His songwriting is largely a comment to modern day society. Through the use of fictional characters and archetypes, he tells his stories. 

Anders grew up on a small island, Møn, in southern Denmark. He first started played the violin at 9 years old, but he never found it exciting. He then began playing guitar at the age of 11, and that was something completely different. He went to a number of different music schools during his teens, and he has since then played with a number of different acts.

Hot Club Gypsy Jazz is jazz quintet, who aims to interpret and follow the great musical inheritance of gypsy jazz. Trying to follow the footsteps of Django, Grapelli and Paul Tchaou-Tchou Vidal amongst other in copying their soli down to the note, but also the very atmosphere of the old tapes and the culture of the sound: the live-feeling, majority of string instruments and all acoustic. Gypsy Jazz is a musical playground: play a weird note, tease your soloing friend with upping the tempo, laugh and scream and get the lost in this very complicated, but also very simple music.

A hopeful universe of sweet melancholy, expressed through explosive sound images and drowsy, gloomy tales.
