اگر چشم هایم را خواندی 
دستی که آن را نوشته است به یاد نیاور
من به قدری تو را دوست دارم
که دلم میخواهد در خیال و افکار تو از یاد رفته باشم 
مبادا به من فکر کنی و تو را غمگین سازد
تویی که در من فروغ آن آتش را میبینی و مرگ را در جایی میبینی که از آن حیات گرفته بود
و تو همه ی این ها را میبینی و التهاب و اشتیاقت برای کسی که میدانی به زودی ترکت خواهد کرد بیشتر خواهد شد
