Biography:
Del Brown's voice can primarily be described as "Estuary English", as he was born and raised in Gravesend, Kent.  With a dynamic range and enthusiastic emphasis, Del's voice is ideal for TV and Radio promos, adverts, corporate narration and website.  He started his voice over career in the late 1990's at Ravensbourne College where he was the live continuity announcer for 'Station On-Air 1998'.  His credits now include corporate videos for Doreen Bird college of performing arts and promos for QVC - The shopping Channel.

Healing through Zen Shiatsu, Qi Gong & Love ~

Cardboard Cowboy spluttered into life in 2002 in the form of Dave and Ant, formerly drums and bass respectively in future wave Leeds popsters Brazil.   “Bless My Soul”, still a crowd favourite, was recorded by these two mere mortals and showed enough scuzzed up raw swagger to get people all frothed up on both sides of the Atlantic.  Claire Sturgess on xfm proclaimed it “such a glorious racket – it works for me!”, indie mogul Alan McGee and LA label Medicated records heartily agreed, the latter faxing a record contract to the office of Dave’s crappy pen-pushing job and lining up Jim Reid from The Jesus & Mary Chain to produce their debut.

Sadly, this is one of those “it wasn’t to be” tales but after such an auspicious start, Dave and Ant figured it would be churlish to do anything other than plough straight ahead.  They were blessed by stumbling on piano pounding, guitar twanging Pat and the hardest hitting, disco bomb dropping drummer around, The Cardinal.

They played a lot of gigs around Leeds and London, honing their sound; a ragged, raging, glorious blend of old time country and the kind of indie rock and roll that’s the birth right of every northern girl and boy.

Another lucky accident was getting to know Jez, drummer from 90’s shoegaze legends Swervedriver, who ended up producing debut album “Unload Your Head”.  Uncut magazine reckoned we’d cracked the sound of “Primal Scream in a Texan roadhouse” and leedsmusicscene.co.uk lavished it with a glowing 5 star review calling it “addictive...a uniquely fine album of great songs”.

The band played the hearts out of these songs up and down the country over the next few months, all the while building up songs for the follow up “Shorthand For Love”.  Once again produced by Jez, it stretched the band’s horizons still further; their country leanings even more apparent with the high lonesome ache of “I’m Not Sleeping”, shades of Astral Weeks in “Lady Brown”, the Velvet Underground in “You Don’t Need To Cry” (with a guitar sound courtesy of Pete Doherty’s trench coat) and the Strokes-y urgency of “When I Set Sail”.

That summer, the band played the BBC unsigned stage at the Leeds festival and rounded things off with a US tour.  Their jet-lagged midnight show in Detroit is a shining moment the band will never forget.  Ending on this high, the band went their separate ways in 2007, raising families and playing with other musicians.  2014 saw Dave move back to Leeds after years in London and someone noticed it was 10 years since the first album was released – why not play a reunion gig and have a party?  This they did on a glorious summer’s afternoon, realising that, not only was it still massively exciting to play these songs together, but that they are now an even better band.  They’re hooked and so, if you can, we’d really recommend you catch them when they’re round your way. 

Alpha Ursae Majoris (Alpha UMa, α Ursae Majoris, α UMa) is the second-brightest star in the constellation of Ursa Major (despite its Bayer designation of "alpha"). It has the traditional name Dubhe, and a rarer name Ak.

Burning Man and the Playa Soundtrack

Burning Man played a transformative role in Joseph Lee’s career and artistic vision. First attending in the late 1990’s, Lee found inspiration in the festival’s ethos of radical self-expression and community. He became a staple in the deep house camps on the Playa such as Robot Heart, Distrikt, Kalliope and The Luna Art Crane, crafting immersive, sunrise-to-sunset (and sunset to sunrise) sets that connected thousands of burners in shared transcendence. His ability to curate soundscapes that mirrored the desert’s vastness and beauty earned him a loyal following both at Burning Man and in the San Francisco music scene

Love Parade and Cultural Advocacy

One of Joseph Lee’s most significant achievements was helping to bring the Love Parade to San Francisco. Originally founded in Berlin, the Love Parade celebrates music, peace, and community, with thousands of people gathering for a massive dance procession through the streets. Lee’s vision and passion for electronic music led him to advocate for and organize the first-ever Love Parade in San Francisco in 2004, inspired by curating, building and doing on this 50 foot silver spaceship art car ‘float’ for SFPride in 2000.

Though the music industry and San Francisco itself have evolved over the years, DJ Joseph Lee remains a cornerstone of the city’s vibrant cultural scene. Whether behind the decks at a packed club, orchestrating pop up renegade parties with his mobile DJ Void sound system called the ‘Robo Kart’, a sunrise Playa set, or spinning at a community event in Golden Gate Park, Lee’s passion for music and connection shines through. His career is a testament to the transformative power of music and its ability to unite people across boundaries, one deep house beat at a time.

Here you can find FREE SONGS AND LIVE RECORDINGS from Two Birds - the band and producer duo and friends Ellen Vingren and Emanuel Sandgren from Sweden. They'd been suporting other artist and their music for several years and came together, each with their own set of songs, in the winter of 2011 to see what would happend.
Six months later 1000 people came to their first concert at the Swedish music festival Frizon..  Since then they´ve had intimate duo concerts, full band shows and played with a symphony orchestra. In 2013 they finished their debut album.
Two Birds gaves us close popmusic/americana with a lot of rythm and lyrics to remember and live. 

"The 18th of July, 2014, one of my best friend, our amazing bird Emanuel, sadly passed away in cancer, 33 years old. I have no words really. Only tears. And our pact. Emanuel was and is irreplacable. These two birds have sung for the last time together on this earth. The pain is indescribable. Two Birds was never about Two Birds. We were about heart - a heart bigger and stronger than anything. About songs, tunes and rythms inspired by that heart. Two Birds was about a love bigger and stronger than anything, about recieving, sharing and enjoying that love, God’s love, through friendship and creativity. We held our beloved Two birds-journey with open and grateful hands. That was our pact. The pain is indescribable. So is my gratitude. I got to be the Ellen bird. I got to be warm, encourageing, humle, talented Emanuel’s friend. I am one of those who got to laugh, cry, create, dream and live with him. We helped eachother to live the dreams and songs that were born in our hearts. To seriously and playfylly dress them in the most beautiful clothes. We helped eachother to fly. I miss him. We miss him. So much. His last text to me and my John came at a rehearsal with some other musicians: ”Peace and peace again over you. Make sure you have fun. I really I wish I could’ve joined you in some little way ;)”Death didn’t win. Love did. Peace did.. The love, stronger than anything, did. Life won. One bird will now be singing in heaven and one bird on earth. ’Til we meet again.

Beartown Zodiac are an Indie-Pop outfit based in Bournemouth, England led by singer and songwriter David Bird-Hawkins. 
 
After a year of travelling the world, armed with a white Flying-V Ukulele and honing his song writing abilities, David returned to the UK to perform under the name of Beartown Zodiac. Initially a solo project, in 2012 David began working with a full band - Tiff Wheaton-Green (Bass), Matt Musial (Drums) and Alison Jay (Violin/Synth) - enhancing and unlocking the full potential of his songs. 
 
May 2013 saw the DIY release of their debut EP Karaoke Bites, produced by The Sunday's Patch Hannan . The four track EP, conceived whilst on a journey that spanned twelve countries in as many months, was released on indie label Woodenhouse and received positive reviews by the music press. 
 
Beartown Zodiac received decent radio airplay in the months leading up to the release, with the BBC one of their main supporters. They were invited to play a live session on BBC London and enjoyed coverage on BBC Introducing. 
 
Tom Robinson of 6Music and Fresh On The Net has included Beartown Zodiac on his Freshnet Gems playlist and the band has made the Listening Post shortlist on three occasions. 

In January 2014 the band supported Mark Morriss of The Bluetones.


The debut album, Star Map Home is released March 2015 on their own label The Burrow Bournemouth. Eleven tracks explore wanderlust and homecomings, popular culture and a Zombie apocalypse. Star Map Home will have your blood racing and yearning for adventure before tucking you back into a warm melodic bed of sound.
 
 Beartown Zodiac’s sound ranges from beautiful acoustic and violin numbers to all out synth and guitar-soaked rock.
Their music embraces all minutiae of life; from an atmospheric love song about a broken i-Pod (Time Stands Still) to synth-pop I was a Zombie which delves into the mind of Brazilian footballer Ronaldo on that fateful day at France 1998. Influences encompass Grandaddy, Blur, Magnetic Fields, Eels, Pavement and everything in between.
