Hello all!

Hope you are all having a great day! I am an aspiring singer and creative writer who lives in the city of Stirling in Scotland where I attend university. I am still in my teens (barely, I am nineteen), but I feel I have crammed rather a lot of good and bad experiences into that time. I have only been singing for four years. By that, I don't mean singing live or at karaokes, I mean singing at all. I used to be very indifferent to music and didn't bother to learn how to sing. Over time however, I gained a love for listening to music in multiple genres (though my favourites will always be jazz and country music).

I was especially drawn to singers who could convey and express their emotions. Having been a writer since I was very young, I loved the idea of opening up a new way of expressing some of the more challenging aspects of my emotions to others, as well as understanding them myself. At first, I was drawn to Emeli Sande and Evanescence, and still love both artists, but a good friend of mine introduced me to Ella Fitzgerald and from the first bar, I was addicted. I grew obsessed with her and the other jazz greats (Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett to name some favourites), as well as modern jazz artists such as Jamie Cullum. From there it was on to other great emotive voices like Tina Turner, Tracy Chapman and many others. I pushed myself and learned as much of the technical side of things as I could from online resources and began to notice a change in my voice.

I have gone from a few, wobbly, off-key notes to nearly four clear octaves within the last four years. My flat, dim voice has begun to come into its own, and my confidence is growing (though it's still rather weak). I have joined a musical theatre society and have taken part in multiple shows (I will link a video or two) and have finally taken the plunge and joined this site in the hope of further increasing in confidence.

My name on here is chosen because it bridges the world between writing and music, and I intend to change the names of my online writing to that pseudonym. I will add links to my writing stuff as soon as I have cleared up the disarray that has become of them. 

I realise I am still very new on here, and that many people will not comment on anything, but I would like to warmly invite you to do so. I accept constructive criticism with gratitude and joy, but will actively oppose any non-constructive comments or abuse. On that front, if you ever need someone to listen to something you have posted and give you honest and genuine constructive criticism, I am very willing to do so. I am very open to take requests, indeed I would feel honoured and would certainly value the chance to expand my pool of songs. I am also going to re-record most of the songs on my profile so that they sound a bit better and clearer now that I have a decent mic!

Shiv Shankaran Nair is currently the Executive Chairman of Suez Holdings.

His background is in Financial Engineering and Government Advisory roles. He is also recognized as a leading practitioner of Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building among Sovereign states.

Mr.Nair has spent the past twenty years in putting together some of the most iconic infrastructure projects in Africa and Latin America, using Chinese Exim credits, so much so, that the Economist magazine once dubbed him "China's secret weapon in Africa"

As an entrepreneur he has set up, added value and sold several companies, especially in the "Economies in Transition". He bought, developed and sold off British Borneo Petroleum, an old midcap oil company. In 1995, along with two local partners he set up the first post-soviet insurance company in The Republic of Georgia, and in 2004, when it had become the largest independent insurer in Georgia, sold it to the Bank of Georgia. 

He has acted as advisor on FDI, National Strategic Planning and Financial Engineering to the Governments of Nigeria, Ghana, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Mauritius, Malta, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and Ecuador.

As a specialist in National Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building, Mr.Nair was called upon to attend the Somali Round Table, representing a major Middle Eastern Country. He also acted as mediator between the Govt. of Niger and major Chinese Oil Company in the dispute on the Agadem block, and represented another Chinese oil major in their negotiations with the Kurdish Regional Government. 

In 2013, he was appointed as Special Envoy of the Government of Vanuatu to initiate talks between Vanuatu and the Republic of Georgia on the issue of the de-recognition of the breakaway republic of Abkhazia.

In 2016,The newly elected Government of Vanuatu appointed him their Trade Advisor for Europe, with a mandate to seek assistance to clean up Vanuatu's offshore banking, gaming and shipping sectors

Fabio Ferro was born in Salerno on May 28th, 1991. At the age of 13 he starts his approach with music and becomes familiar with the console, vinyls and cds are his bread and butter. Stubborn, accurate and dedicated to what delivers fun, he creates his own way as a dj into the local music scene by playing as “Guest Talent DJ” in the best locations of the night movement.
