Eric Shuster (b. 1986, USA) is a musician based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He performs in concert halls, opera houses, festivals, art spaces, dive bars, and living rooms. He also produces diverse concert programs in his local community and directs a percussion ensemble.  He often collaborates with composers and artists to create new work; sometimes projects that exist between music, theatre, dance, and visual art. Included on this playlist are collaborators Carolyn Chen, Wally Gunn, Kyle Page, and Matt Wellins. Eric is currently a Lecturer of Music at Salisbury University, where he has served since 2011.

This is some of my favorite music, since I first heard the original recording on the double CD "First Thought Best Thought" released on Audika Records. Despite the charm and the quality of the original recording I think this music should be played live and be part of a alternative contemporary music repertoire.

This is a private live recording which documents my reconstruction of the score togehter with ensemble für neue musik zürich and conductor Sebastian Gottschick.
