hi, my name is Avenlea Scott! my favorite artists/singers are Lindsey Sterling, Amy Lee and Taylor Swift. i love Pokemon, anime, dragons, and cats. my favorite instrument is the violin. and i LOVE the colors red, white, silver, dark green, russet, and brown. i read, wright, draw, play a bit of violin, and listen to music. i am 14 yrs old, have short brown hair and dark green eyes. oh, and heres a little secret between me and you. i can hear and smell REALLY well! oh, ok. sorry! that was not very secretive and awesome, but hey, who am i kidding, im not all that awesome my self! bye, see ya! We are touring band currently based out of Peoria, IL

We have paid our dues and been there and done that. Now we're paying it forward. Just fighting along hoping to catch our break. So instead of boring you with a grandiose tale of how great and amazing, brooding and deep we are, we will just tell you a little bit about us. Who knows, maybe you'll like us. 

KEVIN MACE (Vocals & Acoustic Guitar)
Kevin comes from a small town outside of Chicago called Hanover Park. He picked up his acoustic guitar at age 15 and hasn’t put it down since. Influenced by The Grateful Dead, Phish, Dispatch, Dave Matthews, and Jimi Hendrix. Kevin has traveled coast to coast playing his music and sharing the stage with many great acts. In 2005 Kevin helped put together the band Liquor Boxx with Patrick and they had some success. Scraping on the tails of success and just scraping by this man has the moan for music and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. 

PATRICK CREEDON (Electric Guitar)
Patrick, an Oak Park, IL boy and has played all over the country. He lived in the "Big Easy" for awhile as a hired gun sharing the stage at times with Bela Fleck, West Bank Mike, Warren Haynes, and Buddy Guy to name a few. Patrick has known Kevin for over a decade and after 3 years on the road, some crazy times, and lots of tears he has not stopped playing. Riding the roller coaster of heaven and hell is what he does, its just in his blood. He has been in and out of so many bands, writing and creating so many things, searching for the right sound... I think he has finally found it. 

GREG VAZQUEZ (Electric Guitar)
Hailing out of North Riverside IL. Greg, our favorite Jewish guitar player ever, has a sound all his own and it is so sweet. Greg and Patrick have known each other for about 12 years. In high school they were each others friendly competition of who was the towns best guitar player and thanks to this wonderful economy Greg got laid off from his job. And, thanks to this wonderful economy we now have Greg... how sweet it is. 

SHAUN "Gotti" CALLOWAY (Bass Guitar)
Bringing up the rhythm section of this band we had to bring the soul and here we got the real west side Shaun Calloway. I don't know how growin' up on the streets could teach bass this well, but DAMN! Sean is more of a gentle giant, but boy can this guy play bass. Shaun has been immersed deeply in the Chicago Gospel scene. Shaun just won the Chicago Gospel contest at the United Center and is on his way to nationals in The Big Apple. Shaun and Patrick met playing for previous group and decided to take their Musical relationship to the next level. 

JEREMY JOHNSON (Drums)
Oh my god this brother can play. Hailing from the southside of Chicago this boy is like Buddy Miles on steroids. At 25 years old this kid has already played with Bobby Brown, Tamika Scott, Fel Davis, David Hollister, Jessica Reedy, and Keith Jackson. Some of Jeremy's influences include Dennis Chambers, Teddy Campbell, Dave Weckl, Tony Royster, and Rex Hardy. Patrick and Jeremy have known each other for awhile and Jeremy is the best damn drummer he's ever seen. Growing up playing in the churches really shows. Jeremy has played with some pretty accomplished cats. Now its his time.

Since nobudy is ever going to read this, ahh looking for Gf ... ahm i like cats...my live is pretty boring atm, mechanic btw... ye 182cm 85kg 16 y/o , 85kg but pretty healthy aint fat or anything, just big cheeks lul, i like smoking pot(since nothing feels right rn as i said its pretty boring and stuff since i don't know why i should not do it...)and "longboarding".

Raw Dogs was formed in the winter of 2012 in a seedy, smoke stained practice room in midtown Manhattan. These were dark times. The people of New York had forgotten the true meaning of rock ‘n’ roll, their shows no longer the colorful spectacles of drinking and dancing they once were. Instead shows had become boring places where good people were forced to stand around and watch pretentious indie-rock musicians masturbate on stage.

But guitarist Shiro Aoki had received a calling. The good lord of Rock ‘n’ Roll appeared in his ’55 Cadillac and commanded Shiro to put fresh grease in his hair, grab a hollow-body, and spread the rockabilly gospel. Shiro called on friend, long-time musical collaborator, and soon-to-be stand-up bass player Mike G to aid in his quest. After jamming out on a few song ideas the duo decided they were ready to form a band, they just needed a drummer. As luck would have it, Shiro remembered meeting a drummer named Ed at a random show six months earlier who had mentioned a love of rockabilly. It was a total shot in the dark, but the good lord of Rock ‘n’ Roll was smiling that day. Ed’s was available and desperate to start playing in a rockabilly band again. The three got together and Raw Dogs was born. After a few weeks of practicing and a particularly nasty run in with an indie band that culminated in an old-timey rumble choreographed to jazz music, Raw Dogs was ready to play live.

Since forming, Raw Dogs has played shows across Manhattan and Brooklyn, whipping crowds into a rhythm-induced frenzy wherever they go. Drawing on everything from Gene Vincent to Dion to the Stray Cats (not to mention their own extensive backgrounds playing hard rock and heavy metal), Raw Dogs is vintage rock ‘n’ roll made fresh and exciting for the 21st century.

I have 2 girls Ashlyn and Lizzy, 3 dogs Faith, Gertie and Doug and 2 cats Bandit and Snoopy.  I live with my boyfriend Alex.  I am pretty boring.

We are not a bar or a restaurant, the focus is on the music. We do not serve alcohol. We will have catered shows with food and alcohol and occasional 21 and up b.y.o.b. shows but for the most part we are an all ages venue, not a bar. There are plenty of bars out there, our goal is to provide a place where all ages can hang out and enjoy music. 

Also a recording studio and practice space.

Squarehead is a 2400 sq foot air condtioned space.

Directions: I 75 exit #107. Take Pine Ridge Rd west to Shirley street (approx 2.7 miles). There is a 7/11 and a traffic light at Pine Ridge and Shirley St. Turn right onto Shirley and then turn right at the stop sign (Seward Ave) -- we are the third building on the left, two story yellow building on the corner of Washington and Seward.

Coming from US41: head east on Pine Ridge Rd (away from the beach) until you get to Shirley St. (approx 2 mins / 1.21 miles) then turn left onto Shirley St. Head down Shirley St. and then at the stop sign (Seward) turn right. We are the third bulding on left. A two story yellow builing on the corner of Washington and Seward.
