Busk Break is an ongoing field recording series documenting live performances by busking musicians and other street performers passing through Asheville, NC. The series began in 2010, and is recorded and produced by Steve Shanafelt.

The Hokum High Rollers were formed in New Orleans, LA in the winter of 2011. Their sound is derived mainly by influence of Pre WWII Country Blues performers but played with the energy of their punk rock roots. Based out of New Orleans they can be found busking and performing at various venues. They also like to tour so keep an eye out, they may be in a town near you!
