"Oxygen plus any element you like" - THE OXIDES
The Oxides are a four piece all-action, lean, mean fighting machine.  Their aim musically is to create songs with classic sing along melodies and powerful, hard hitting, energetic music.  They burst onto the Inverness music scene with a hugely anticipated debut in the cities much renowned ‘Mad Hatters/Hootananny’ venue in July 2012 to huge acclaim.  Following the gig local blogger ‘Houdi’ stated ‘nobody sounds this f*****g good on a first outing...surely!!’  
They have since added a palpable layer to the pounding set with a 2nd guitar player and recent sets have bounced along more fiercely as a result, resulting in a show-stopping headline slot at the recent ‘Winter Showcase’ at the Ironworks where local online magazine/fanzine Invernessgigs said of the performance - ‘The band put their heart and soul into this performance and the perfect slice of indie rock that they served up was a perfect way to round off the evening’ and even went on to name The Oxides as ‘Ones to watch in 2013’ stating ‘Giving us infusions of Nirvana and Oasis, any gig with the Oxides will be worth turning out for’.

The Oxides have already accumulated a mini "cult" status, and the gig diary is filling up, the band have recently completed a successful Highland mini-tour aswell as supporting PAWS (FatCat records), earning more rave reviews in the process. 
The band have also recently been booked to perform at the Cavern Club in Liverpool in May as part of the IPO Festival and will also support Parlour Flames (Featuring ex-Oasis member Bonehead) in June.
They have put down a marker and intend on pushing themselves to the limit in 2013.

Lucille are a Indie Bop and Roll band from Inverness, Scotland, taking influence from the likes of Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro. The band pride themselves on feel good get up and dance rock numbers that will have an audience singing and dancing before it all ends

Emma Mitchell is a singer-songwriter, manager, singing teacher, guitarist and music promoter originally from Orkney and has strong Irish roots, she has been writing songs since she was in school and is self taught. She now lives in the Highlands, Scotland where she teaches singing at Stagecoach Theatre School to over 100 kids and teaches singing privately. She is in several bands but manages to hold on to her own singing style in each genre receiving singing lessons from Tony Henry who has had several record deals and is very experienced, it has helped her to grow as a musician so much and she knows a lot more about the music industry because of this.

Parma Violets are a tight, well rehearsed, unit where driving rock music mingles with indie and a touch of reggae to deliver immense powerful hooks that the crowd just lapp up !!

Justboy is the solo project from Inverness singer-songwriter Dale Sutherland. Dale is known for fronting the raging Alt Rock duo Alkanes, but since 2018 he has been rafting a more intimate and fragile form of songwriting which has grown into the Justboy material. 

Inspired by indie-folk luminaries such as City and Colour, Bon Iver, Hozier and Phoebe Bridgers, Justboy’s often soulful vocal passages and atmospheric songwriting captures the vulnerability of his lyrics in visceral fashion.
