The Royal US is Heather Lockie (Vocals, Viola, Banjo, Noises), Max Kutner (Guitars, Percussion, Piano, Vocals, Noises), Brian Saia (Gadgetry, Noises, Sonic Dreamweaving) and Steven Kai Van Betten (Vocals, Guitar, Noises). The Royal US mines the wealth of well-traveled murder ballads, laments and sea shanties from the British Isles, continuing the tradition of folk in the 21st century through live electronic manipulation and extended improvisation. Recently, the Royal US has applied this treatment to some original pieces.

Though the group's primary source material is public domain, The Royal US discards  the act of preservation and homage altogether. This is modern folk as imagined by modern folk.

MamaRudeGyal MTHC is a young female hip hop artist representing many demographics across the nation. As a Multi Ethnic young mother she strives to inspire people from all walks of life, just as she's been inspired by people from all walks of life. While MamaRudeGyal MTHC's Most important musical Influences are Jimi Hendrix, Esthero, No Doubt, Erykah Badu, Aaliyah, Selena, Missy Elliot, Wu Tang Clan, M.I.A., Alt - J, Band Of Horses, Radiohead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Portishead, Quasimoto and more; She always draws upon her vast library of influences when in comes to creating music. MRG has never been a person who subscribes to a specific genre, or set thereof; opting instead for a wealth of variety. Being the former bassist and lead vocalist of a mid-pubescent heavy metal band, many of her early influences were the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Pantera, Slipknot, Slayer, Rage Against the Machine, Anti-Flag, Megadeth, Metallica, System of a Down, Barn Burner and really anything containing many Audibly pleasurable layers of technicality blended perfectly with the beautiful freedom of the creation of art, no matter the genre or demographic. 
That being said, due largely in part to her Multi Ethnic background, many of her influences are so varied that some are even polar to each other. She's been surrounded by World Music from all over since her early childhood, like Gypsy Kings, Early Shakira and the beautiful Buena Vista Social Club, various african music and Brazilian Folk, Pow Wow Music, Flamenco, Dancehall, Soca ect. She grew up listening to Bob Marley, Jay - Z, Marilyn Manson, Limp Bizkit, Korn, The Cranberries, Busta Rhymes, and when influenced by her older sister began listening to Nouvelle Vague, Metric, The Knife, Crystal Castles, Air, Broken Social Scene, Tom Waits, Ok Go, Mum, Interpol, ect. Other influences worth mentioning are K-OS, KRS-One, Angel Haze, Slum Village, A Tribe Called Quest, Major Lazor, Schoolboy Q, Die Antwoord, Status Krew, The Weeknd, Popcaan, MF Doom, Job for a Cowboy, The Black Dhalia Murder.... I COULD GO ON ALL YEAR MY FRIENDS. 


The Penny Black Remedy are a London based band renowned for their energetic live shows and for their unique musical fusion of many different genres, including Folk, Americana, Punk and Ska.

The combination of singer/songwriter Keith M Thomson’s distinct blend of darkly humorous lyrics and joyfully hooky melodies and the band’s high-octane stage antics have enticed and entertained audiences across the UK and Europe since the band’s inception (in London, 2004).

At the band's core is Scottish born front-man and guitarist Thomson and singer/percussionist, Marijana Hajdarhodzic, from Croatia. Keith & Marijana have been performing music together since 2006.

The band’s line up is a colourful and culturally diverse collective that includes; Jeremy Mendonca from California, USA, on bass guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals, violinist Basia Bartz from Poland and Jamie Shaw (from London) on drums.

Keith and Marijana also perform, tour and record TPBR songs as an acoustic duo (footage and recordings of which can be found on the band's website; www.thepennyblackremedy.com).

TPBR released their debut album, ‘No One’s Fault But Your Own’, in May 2009. The album includes many favourites from their live set, such as; Bring Back Brando, 95 Charing Cross Road, Don’t Count On Us, The First Time I Saw Angels and Come Back When You Have More Ambition. The album was released on their own independent label, Soundinistas, and is distributed globally by Cadiz Music.

The band released their much anticipated second album, ‘Inhale... Exhale... OK, Now You Can Panic!’ in July 2013 to rave reviews from the major music press including Q, Uncut, Rock’n’Reel Magazine, The Daily Mirror and Americana UK. The album includes two singles, ‘Some People Just Don’t Know When To Quit’ and ‘Up To My Neck In A Hex’, which was accompanied by their first promo video. Uncut said of the album "Festival folkies hit cross cultural sweet spot!", R2 magazine said "Stand-out track? All of ‘em – turn it up!" and Americana UK said "A boisterous riot of an album... It bursts out of the speakers, dances on the sofa, pogos into the kitchen, drinks all your beer and then boogies round your living room while laughing maniacally!".

The Penny Black Remedy released their third album, 'Maintaining Dignity In Awkward Situations' on 24th November 2017 and immediately garnered much critical praise from the music press. RnR Magazine gave the album a n early glowing 5 Star review, saying 'Lead singer and songwriter for The Penny Black Remedy, Keith M Thomson, is a genius. It is the strength of these genre-straddling songs that makes Maintaining Dignity In Awkward Situations a diamond shining bright amongst the wealth of Gypsy-tinged folk and country bands competing for our attention' and Americana-UK said of the album 'dark and delicious tales from the darkside'. The album was produced by Boz Boorer (Morrissey/The Polecats/Adam Ant) and Keith. It was preceded by the single, 'I'd Murder To Have You Back', which was accompanied by a video, filmed in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The album was released by mono del mundo records and is distributed globally by Cadiz Music.

On the subject of TPBR's music, Thomson says: "The fact that most of the songs are about death, lost love, living in a constant state of crippling paranoid fear and/or coping with the daily grind of everyday life is irrelevant. Encouraging people to sing loudly and out of tune about the absurdity of general existence seems to instill a sense of comfort and emotional unity...I think."

The Penny Black Remedy continue to keep a busy schedule and will be showcasing material from their new album 'Maintaining Dignity In Awkward Situations' on tours of the UK and Europe throughout Winter 2017 into early Spring 2018. And they will be releasing the second single and video from their recent third album in Spring 2018 and plan to release their fourth album in Autumn 2018.

Delano Carey – Biography

On September 13 1988, deep in Freeport, Grand Bahama, a star was born. Delano Carey aka Mr. D.C had music and lyrics running through his veins from the age of five. At age 17, Delano started a movement to help the youth of The Bahamas in all areas. He established a track club called Garden Hills Trackers where he was the founder and head coach. Due to his love for music, he founded another area in which he uses models, singers, rappers, dj’s and dancers, to help birth and showcase their talents. He has called this program, ‘The D.C Production’. Delano is a friend, and a great role model for the young men in our society. 

Becoming a singer was his dream. The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Delano was always surrounded by different forms of music. His mother was a gospel singer with various bands, and his parents exposed him to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced his development.At the age of 18 he released his first single and he is still striving to be on top. Mr. DC is about to release his debut album in mid September 2012 consisting of collaborations with various artists, much to the excitement of his already sizeable army of fans. With the album expected to be a success and fame imminent, the exciting, newfangled sound that he has made is certain to gain interest from across the world. He is presently performing at concerts around The Bahamas and the world, singing songs from love to Gospel. 

Besides being a great singer and song writer, Delano is also a motivational speaker and author. His first book is titled "The Tears I've Cried." Delano is adding filmmaker to his resume as he is producing a short film, "Dark Truth," written by himself. It is about a young couple deeply in love; however, the relationship ends in murder. It will be released on DVD in mid December.
