As one of the most heavily supported and best-sold techno producers of the moment, notorious for his powerful live performances at renowned festivals and clubs, Reinier Zonneveld is currently taking over the contemporary scene with his unique view on techno. In spite of his young age, Zonneveld already managed to score several charting hits, including Beatport overall no.1 "Things We Might Have Said", which was included on his well-received artist album "Megacity Servant" and later on landed in a Hollywood production.

Born in the Netherlands on the 30 January 1991, Zonneveld's introduction to music was through classical piano lessons from the tender age of three. In his youth, Reinier started to compose classical music pieces and performed piano concerts by himself. But it was only when he started his university studies in econometrics and finance and after attending his first illegal raves, that Reinier Zonneveld began exploring music production by way of electronic means.his outstanding production skills in his student dorm.

At the end of 2015, after he completed his two master's degrees, Zonneveld decided to dedicate all of his time and effort to his ever-growing passion: producing and performing techno music. Soon after, his tracks got picked up by some of the biggest names in the scene, followed by releases on Oliver Koletzki's Stil vor Talent, Carl Cox's Intec, Richie Hawtin's Minus and two official remixes for Moby.

With his productions and live - sets influenced by both, Zonneveld's classical background and his own rave experiences, it's no surprise that his sound contains an incredible breadth, ranging from deep melodic tracks to pounding warehouse acid techno.

Zonneveld's musical talent truly shines through in his live performances as he manages to craft hits, both old and new, live on stage. This extraordinary talent enables Reinier to perform a unique all-night live - set on the spot, while creating explosive moments on the dance floor.

Only just starting his career, Zonneveld has already performed on all continents, from main stages to underground clubs, leaving a thrilled crowd on each dance-floor. If not on the road, Zonneveld tries to find time in his fully - booked tour schedule to create tracks and further hone his skills in the studio, with the experiences and influences gained

Spending all of his student's allowance on his first synthesizers during his university time, Zonneveld managed to teach himself from his performances and travels as a constant source of inspiration.

Next to performing and producing music, Reinier runs his own well-received label Filth on Acid, which was founded in early 2017. Filth on Acid will fully enable Zonneveld's creativity and serves as a platform for his wide view on techno music. All being said, it's apparent that Reinier Zonneveld will further influence today's global techno scene with his unique productions and dance floor-shaking live - sets for years to come.

12 Inch Lovers, founded in 2011 by DJs Christophe Cemode (Dom) and Seelen (Dimitri Celen), is a true icon in Belgian nightlife. United by their passion for vinyl, they bring the pure, authentic sound of house and club music from the '90s to today—exclusively on vinyl.

Their events go beyond parties: they are full sensory experiences, held at unique locations with top-tier sound, lighting, and decor.

In 2020, they launched their own vinyl series in collaboration with N.E.W.S., now reaching Sampler 10—highly sought-after by collectors and DJs.

Their influence even inspired a vinyl-themed DJ room at IKEA, proving 12 Inch Lovers is more than an event—it’s a movement that continues to grow while staying true to its vinyl roots.

When it comes to stadium-sized techno, Dutch tastemaker Reinier Zonneveld reigns supreme. Over the past 13 years, he’s emerged as one of the Netherlands’ most prolific producers, DJs, event organisers, and label founders. He’s become a beacon for a new generation of ravers, drawn to his fast-paced, bruising beats that fuse the sensibility of techno’s past with the cutting-edge sound design of its future.
But there’s more to Reinier Zonneveld than just a leading producer of acid techno. He’s the founder of the acclaimed Filth On Acid record label, who’s ranked #22 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs and previously the highest new entry of the year, a Guinness World Record holder, an Edison Pop Award winner, and one of the most in-demand live acts in electronic music. Regularly performing in venues with over 25,000 visitors, his live shows have become a benchmark for the modern techno experience, powered by classic machines like the Roland 909, 101, and other synthesizers, which he manipulates in real time to create his signature soundscapes.
Reinier’s reputation as a visionary and pioneer extends far beyond his production. He’s the creative force behind the technologically forward-thinking R² Festival, where he became the first artist in the world to perform back-to-back with his own AI, just trained on his own music, enabling him to experiment with wild new technics on stage while he performs on his synths and drum machines. In 2025, he’ll take this groundbreaking concept even further with a 10-hour AI B2B live performance, featuring a holographic version of himself with real-time audio-visual manipulation — redefining what it means to perform live in the age of AI.
Classically trained on piano from the age of three, Reinier studied econometrics and earned two master’s degrees at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, where his devotion to electronic music first took shape. He began releasing minimal, experimental club cuts in the early 2010s — including ‘Vuur’, ‘Flashers’, ‘Find Muck’, and ‘Remember’ before unveiling his debut album, Reverse Psychology (2013).
By 2015, his sound evolved toward the darker, faster side of techno, showcased on Make Me A Promise and Final Judgement, and cemented with his 2016 album Megacity Servant on Stil vor Talent, featuring the hit ‘Things We Might Have Said’ with Cari Golden. His monumental fourth album Heaven Is Mad (For You) pushed him to new heights, featuring some of his biggest tracks to date — including ‘Dance With The Devil (The 6th Gate)’ (16M+ streams) and ‘Move Your Body To The Beat’ (29M+ streams).
Since founding Filth On Acid in 2017, Reinier has continued to shape the global techno scene, consistently holding the #1 position on Beatport’s techno charts and collaborating with artists ranging from Carl Cox, Speedy J, and Angerfist to Armin van Buuren and Oliver Heldens. Now approaching its 200th release, the label remains synonymous with innovation and quality, balancing underground credibility with global reach.
