There’s a certain ease with which Paul Kenny moves between instruments, machines, and the dancefloor. Born in Naples, Paolo Canale grew up with music always within reach — first through guitar and keyboards, then through the pull of club culture that would ultimately shape his path. What began as a curiosity soon became craft, as he learned to translate emotion into rhythm, releasing on vinyl and digital, both solo and with collaborators under the Bhoo project.
From Naples to Riccione, from Belgium to beyond, Paul has left his mark on clubs and festivals where the energy never fades. For years he held down Arenile, co-founded the Clubbingzone project, and built nights that brought international names to local stages — a journey that has seen him share booths with artists like Solomun, Nina Kraviz, Joris Voorn, and Stephan Bodzin, yet always with his own sound at the center.
What defines Paul Kenny isn’t just the list of names or venues, but the way he builds an atmosphere. His sets carry a natural flow — sensual, hypnotic, and designed to draw dancers into a space where time bends to groove. It’s music that doesn’t shout for attention but holds it, creating memories long after the lights come on.
Now, for MUSICUNEED, Paul Kenny brings that philosophy to MuNcast: a carefully sculpted mix that reflects both his history and his vision, keeping the dancefloor alive with the kind of energy that only comes from experience.

STO returns with ‘Back To School 1’, the next free download in the series. This one swaps the grit for groove, leaning into a disco-infused, driving house direction.

The rhythm is immediate. Tight percussion locks in early, while a rolling bassline carries the track forward with real momentum. Where previous cuts from STO sat heavier, this one feels brighter, sharper, more playful, but still tough enough to hold the floor.

Disco elements run through the arrangement. Familiar vocals and intricately layered musical elements weave around the drums, creating flashes of colour and lift without ever losing focus on the groove. It is about energy, not nostalgia, reworking those influences into something functional and modern.

The sound is clean but punchy. STO keeps space in the mix so each element has impact: the kick sits solid, the claps snap, and the highs cut through with precision. It is built to move dancers, with every layer designed for maximum effect on a system.

‘Back To School 1’ shows another side of STO’s approach, versatile but always floor-driven. DJs will find it slots in nicely anywhere: peak time, after hours, or as that track that flips the mood and gets people locked in again.
