One by One

A dystopian scenario! There has been drought for many decades. A generation or more has only experienced rain in old movies on the TV. Enter the Rain Dreamers, mystics with the power to induce mass hallucinations of heavy life-giving rain. Do they bring hope, or is it just a dream? One way, perhaps rather fancifully, I've imagined climate change may play out.

« Il avait plu la veille et le soir le ciel avait été très nuageux. Au loin, les collines étaient couvertes de jolis nuages lumineux qui changeaient de forme pendant que vous les observiez.

Le soleil couchant, avec sa lumière dorée, ne frappait qu'un ou deux amoncellements de nuages, qui semblaient aussi solides que les sombres cyprès. Comme vous les regardiez, vous deveniez tout naturellement silencieux. 

Le vaste espace et l'arbre solitaire sur la colline, la coupole lointaine et le bavardage qui vous entourait – tout faisait partie de ce silence. 

Vous saviez que le lendemain matin il ferait un temps délicieux, parce que le coucher de soleil était rouge. Et il était ravissant. Il n'y avait plus un seul nuage et le ciel était très bleu. 

Les fleurs jaunes, l'arbre couvert de fleurs blanches contre la haie sombre des cyprès et un parfum de printemps remplissaient les terres. La rosée était sur l'herbe et, tout doucement, le printemps émergeait des ténèbres. »

It’s an @ Open Collaboration, so even a caveman can record anything over it, ha!!!Merry Christmas, 2024!!! Hope everyone had a fine year!!! Looking forward to the year, 2025!! Can you believe it??
