Decibus is an electronic music project started in 1998 to present. House Music, Drum N Bass, Down Tempo, and other forms of electronic music are the main focus for this production project. Beta testing audio software and crafting sound presets are also another part of the Decibus project's ambitions. Decibus has created a bass synth presets for the Simsynth VSTi program and beta tested Fruity Loops (FL Studio) in it's early stages. I have been listening to Electronic music since the late 70's. I have always been interested in synthesizers. When I was younger, I started listening to Electro-Funk, older synth-pop groups like Depeche Mode, and synth-rock bands like Gary Numan, Rush, and other groups back in the late 70's to early 80's. I have been following electronic music from then until now. 'Decibus' is just a project that I have been working on since 1998. I have done all sorts of electronic music styles, appearing on the now deceased MP3.COM, travelling Canada to visit friends and check out the music scene up there and locally. I am currently working on a lot more down-tempo and trip-hop tracks these days, always looking for singers to round-out my music project. These musical projects can become 'ours' and not just mine. I also have access to a vocal studio, as well as some local music-scene hook ups. Although I do not go out as much anymore, I still have a lot of good club-connections. Also, I have done some audio work for independent films, and some fashion runway music as well.
