I'm a musician and home recordist based in Tokyo. I play guitar and drums in the Oversleep Excuse and have done a few other bands, but this is the repository for things I record by myself under the name NewNormal, and theres also a couple of bits from other short lived, ill fated projects. Mostly I use mics and acoustic/electric instruments- guitars, steel pan, kalimbas, tongue drum, piano, organ. Probably would be easier, but I try to avoid software trickery mostly apart from a bit of sampling and drum machine here and there. 


 Hythe was a band I did in Colchester and London circa 1998-2000 with 3 very dear old friends.

Always interested in collaborations and doing recording work for other bands / musicians if you are in Tokyo.
