Influenced by mid-90s Bay Area rap, West Coast gangster rap, and East Coast legends like Big L, Big Pun, Rakim, Kool G, and Nas, Cam’s sound fuses nostalgia with sharp modern relevance. He describes his style as hardcore hip-hop or thrash rap, pushing boundaries while staying true to the core of the genre.

Since moving to Phoenix in 2016, Cam has expanded his artistry, drawing from the desert’s intensity while maintaining his Pacific Northwest introspection. His sessions at The Salt Mine studio in Mesa, AZ, alongside major industry players, highlight his place in the game.
