Steve Nelson a/k/a Pehligro born on July 22, 1990 and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. Pehligro growing up in the Island of Jamaica,WI became interested in music at a young age. As a young upcoming artiste the energy of Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks and bounty killer whom dominate the airways and dancehall scene opened his creative mind to further pursue his career in music. 
His voice and musical arrangement isn’t comparable to any other artist in reggae/dancehall history, which is what makes him unique. Pehligro uses the simplicity of his words and his environment to define his message. Pehligro need to have his words expressed with the deep expression of his pain, laughter, sadness, optimism, and happiness is clearly heard when he sings. His distinctive voice continues to increase his fan base and live audience worldwide.
Pehligro will be recognized not only for his signing, stage performances or writing creativity but, for the diversity that he brings to the stage which has no boundaries. His ability reflects from the energy of  bounty killer and the work ethics of  vybz kartel both of whom he idolize., Pehligro is taking Reggae Music to a whole new level which has no boundaries while maintaining the dedication of Reggae / Dancehall. He continues to perfect his talent and undoubtedly will be acknowledged as a musical icon
