Winter Ballad

This is one of my newest originals, a sneak peek into my upcoming album. This song is based on the feelings I experienced at the passing of my beloved dog & best friend, Zeke. He was a rescue, who was abused in previous homes. While I was on a work assignment, he began attacking my fiancée & other animals, and had to be put down. I struggled with that for a good while, and 5 months later I'm starting to be at better terms with it.
