Israel Cole-Collier, known artistically as 1sr3al, was born in Dayton, Ohio, on January 7, 1994. From an early age, Israel faced challenges due to a speech impediment caused by underdeveloped tongue muscles, which led to him being frequently teased in school. Seeking a means of expression, he started writing stories in kindergarten, developing a talent for creating engaging narratives despite his difficulties with speech.
In fifth grade, Israel discovered his true calling in poetry, realizing he had a gift for evoking emotion through the written word. His talent blossomed at New Choices Middle School, where he won a weekly poetry contest consistently, finding acceptance and appreciation among his peers. This creative pursuit brought him joy until a tragedy struck: his father, Timothy Collier, passed away due to heart failure. The news, received while on his way to a poetry contest, caused Israel to set aside his writing for a period.
He returned to his passion during his freshman year of high school, transitioning his focus to rap music. Inspired by influential artists such as Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Nas, Outkast, Tupac, and  Eminem , Israel was determined to follow in their footsteps, eager to make his mark as a rapper.
