Part of a new album I've been uploading, featuring compositions written over the last several months of 2021. If anyone can pinpoint what all of these compositions have in common, musically-speaking, put it in the comments - there was a concept tying everything together but I'm not going to reveal what it was unless if someone figures it out on their own, haha.

This album is going to be called "Prohibited Topics," a tribute to the textbook authors and teachers whose work is being disrupted by right wing efforts to stifle education about racial disparity and structural racism in the US.

This is another collaboration that was written by STONERJAZZ, who is without a doubt one of the most major dudes out there 
Once again joined by the amazingly creative Uziel and the magical voice of Janine Levinson.  Also a first for me - working with the mighty Tea Are Sea

It's an awesome group of creative pros and I'm once again excited to be asked to play on a track with this crew.

Brian would have been 70 today, three years younger than one of his boyhood heroes, Eric Clapton and, in my totally unbiased opinion, every bit as good.  I always thought he would grow old playing his guitar, singing his favourite songs to all who'd listen, and there would have been plenty that would.  I still wake up expecting him to be there and the realisation that my music King has gone is still as painful as ever.    
Some of you may remember the original version (https://soundcloud.com/mountain-songs/whos-gonna-be-my-king-by-cripple-club-provisional-mix), uploaded a couple of years back.  This new mix from Hans arrived out of the blue and was, as you can imagine, the most wonderful surprise -  Gal and me were just blown away.  All the credit for this 'return' goes to him.
